    Of course it is.

Too little too late, it's in and will not be abolished.

Why? This is something that concerns a lot of people on this forum. Anything that brings the situation with PIP to the Government's and the public's (hopefully) attention is important. They might not abolish PIP but they could do something about the delays, etc. I for one think it's great that someone's taken the time and effort to do this.

    I support PIP.

OP, it needs to either go in discussion time, or possibly campaigns corner. This is for help with entitlement, not petitions.

PIP is not inherently worse than DLA for a lot of people.
According to the regulations there are a significant number of winners.

For example - all of the old DLA 'if you can shuffle 30m' has gone away.
Now, if you can't stand and walk 20m, at half the speed of a normal person, you are entitled.
A lot of the other descriptors, when taken with the 'half the speed of a normal person' become a lot more generous.

I don't care to be honest. I'm far better off under PIP than under DLA, and this allows me to actually access services that previously would not take me on because of the lack of funding.

Your comment has no meaning, especially in this forum, because for the most part, people are supporting it as DLA is geared more towards physical impairments rather than the spectrum of all impairments and disabilities that occur now. Try claiming for a genetic condition - it was almost impossible under DLA, but under PIP there are provisions for this.
