Have to admit I have never made marmalade, but I never follow recipes for jam. Just equal parts fruit and sugar, bung it in the pan and boil till set. I have a jam thermometer though, and I keep a stock of small plates in the freezer when I am making jam so I can check the set easily.

Well my Freecycle messages finally went live. I put at the end of the 2nd one the date and time of writing it and just signed it M but the moderator deleted that bit :mad:

So both messages went live at the same time - one from Wednesday morning and one from Thursday morning at 7.05 last night

(Even madder I had a reply from someone at 2 in the morning!)

Good morning:)bit of a dismal damp day here but still warm.My visitors have gone off to Weymouth for a few days to visit other relatives so Nannylala can recharge her batteries ;)as not used to having little ones about and been on the go the whole time with them.Went to London to the Choccy Woccy Dooda shop near Carnaby street and what a lovely experience that was and then on to St James 's park for a picnic packed in the Barbie pink trollie;)
Off to try and have some sort of catchup;)
