Good morning queen of cheap, I am sorry you did not pass your exam. You do not have to feel a failure. Difficult days can make it seem like this. I do hope you have a better day today.

    Thank you :A

I got a new hob three years ago and it's not as hot as the old one so getting marmalade to setting point is a nightmare. Delia does warn about this and says cook in smaller quantities - not very mse!

I am never, ever following a Delia recipe again.

My fault as well I suppose, although i'd been sat there for almost two hours watching and stirring it, leaving the room seemed to kill it off :(

This morning it is well set but very sticky and syrupy. I suspect i'll have to bin the lot off :(

    Morning all
    Morning all

I had a pretty rubbish evening last night. I spent two evenings doing my marmalade and it looks like a disaster :(

Then I find out I never passed my exam. I was 5 points short :( was already a resit so no opportunity to take again

And then to top it all off I was looking last night for a specific top for later as I'm going out from work. Couldn't find it anywhere :(

Those days where you feel like a failure? That's me today :(

QoC I'm with you today :(
Renewed DH parking permit today to finally realise this morning he's not actually back at work till the middle of next week
So now I've paid for almost a week of parking he doesn't need.
After last night I thought today would be better. Not a great start so far :(

I'm fed up to the back teeth with people s****** me about on Freecycle ! I've had decent carpet and a divan in good condition to give away - the carpet finally got collected but the person who wanted the bed has faffed about for several days and hasnt even had the courtesy to phone me to tell me whats happening.

I stopped offering on Freecycle last year due to tie wasters and I think I'll go back to using the rubbish dump again now. A shame but I guess people want brand new stuff from a charity !

I stopped using free cycle ages ago when I got sick of being messed about.
Our local tip has a section for stuff that can be reused so now I just drop the good bits off there when I'm on a tip run.
