    :)

Had a lovely meal last night.
For the first time ever I choose well & everything was delicious.
Normally I get my choice & look at everyone else & realise theirs looks/tastes nicer :o

What happens to the kids who cant afford the "reward days"

I know. it does make you wonder :( Of course, it is annoying but you pay up because you wouldn't dream of your kids missing out.
I do wonder about some of the costs of these things and how they arrive at the figures they do. This trip is to a discovery centre in Preston, so not far. The £20 is to cover the cost if the coach plus an instructor for the day. They are doing various outdoor team building activities.
There are 20 kids going. So is it really costing £400 for a short coach trip and an instructor.......who probably works there and gets paid anyway?

No point in moaning. We will always find the money and pay up for these things, and they know we will :o

If you have shopotize there are new offers this morning and a few of these are suitable for
    !!!!!! v sada shops
    !!!!!! v Morrison shops

Also check the printable coupons thread as there are a few new things on there.

Other than that it has gone quiet again - no idea what to get in a sada shop

Thank you, both. Very grateful and will go looking. May just buy minimum of fruit and then do proper list. Heading out to dietician appointment - statins don't agree w me and this is an attempt to get me to eat better. Trouble is that I do all the right things already - apart from a craving for Doritos!! Fortunately meanie me won't buy them for more than £1!
  • Morning all

Beautiful day here, shame I'm sat in work though.

My OH is on strike tomorrow as well so hoping it's another nice day and we can head out somewhere for the day :)

Work beckons so  for now.

Strike here too tomorrow. DS2 isn't affected but DD has to stay off school. Ive got to wonder what impact a strike has this close to the summer holidays? Other than being an annoyance for parents who work, possibly?
Work has pretty much wound down for this year, so there's no real impact on the kids. Badly thought out if you ask me.

    Or perfectly thought out ;)

Please can I ask where the rumour came from?

They had one of these with the Scottish sun - didn't they have to buy a fiver of fruit and veg to get a fiver off meat, its somewhere on the discount codes newspaper treat going back about 2 weeks ago ...

    Or I have imagined it

Spend £10 on meat and use the £5 voucher 2 weeks behind the f&v one in Heathen land they did mention it
