Can somebody find me a really good glitch on toilet rolls please?

Down to 1/2 a roll lol!

I'm not as low as that yet, but my mountain is looking more like a small hill. We haven't had cheap or glitchy loo roll for ages!!

I was sorting my shelves out yesterday and came to the conclusion that buying all those tassimo pods when the glitch in As was on, was a false economy. Instead of me having a stash to last ages, people in here have just used way much more than they would have normally and almost at the point of needing more  I'll need to put rationing in place on those, I think!

Oh dear, what a state to get into and after the fruit and veg fest as well.

Wilkos have this Regina for 90p but its been OOS online for weeks - some people have found it instore, sadly not me.

    http://www.wilko.com/towels-tissues+toilet-paper/regina-soft-quilted-toilet-tissue-rolls-chamomile-x-4/invt/0268119?VBMST=regina loo roll

Other than that someone did say on a Sada shop yesterday - ??? - that they had loo roll comparing again - not sure if it was down to the magic 25p a roll though ???

    Morning all

Beautiful day here, shame I'm sat in work though.

My OH is on strike tomorrow as well so hoping it's another nice day and we can head out somewhere for the day :)

Work beckons so  for now.

Didn't know the schools were on strike. Means another miserable day of kids sitting on/destroying the screen wall for our garages :( The police are now involved and we have pictures of them on the wall, just got to find who they are now, we have our suspicious though so that info will be passed on. This wall is 8ft high.
What is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare

What happens to the kids who cant afford the "reward days"

    I have often thought this.

I have read that schools can not offer a school trip unless they take all the children (year group/class etc) concerned.

Paying for school trips is voluntary but if not enough people pay, they can cancel.

So the price of the trip actually includes a a subsidy for those who can not and those who do not pay

    Or perfectly thought out ;)

Well isn't the point of a strike to cause disruption? Is there any point if it doesn't?
I personally think that strikes have had their day and achieve very little. The days where employers had to give in to workers demands are sadly long gone :(

He's come home with a letter yesterday inviting him on yet another 'rewards' trip. This one is for students who use the special needs dept. And my reward after paying £27 plus £10 for the PVC clad bear! for the last one is.........£20 for this one  They're out to bankrupt me!
At least the pants will get another wearing :D :rotfl:

DS1 is in London today on a school trip.
We only found out about it when we got a reminder text to say they'd extended the deadline (obviously not many people wanted to go!) as DS1 had decided because money is short we couldn't afford for him to go so he didn't tell us about the trip :(
Needless to say we found the £25 they wanted for the trip and sent him anyway.

I'm sure it's one of those trips where the teachers fancied a day out (DD had one like that a year or so back to cadburys world) as I'm not sure what they'll be learning on a boat on the Thames with 2 weeks of school left

He's taken a tenner and is banned from buying tat so he'll probably ignore me and come home with an overpriced london bus

FC I think these schools think we're made of money
