Agree. don't rate the strawberries, no flavour and seem to be going off although still in date.

    Tend to concur.
Usually most of my fruit and veg is whoopsie stuff and I thought it would be great to buy f&v that was well in date and just what I fancied. However I am finding it isn't as fresh as I was expecting and don't think it is going to last as long as some of my normal whoopsie stuff does.
Think even soft fruit should last until the sell by date, but not complaining for what it cost.

I used to buy the whoopsie salad bags and have them for lunch the next day they were 9p. Why do they have a use by date on them? They arent very nice presume as they are out of date :rotfl:, so I bought some bags that were in date and they goes exactly the same and smell of dirt, I dont buy the salad bags from Morries anymore. It's really bad.

I've not paid much attention to these but my niece has just decided she wants some for her birthday. How many bands does it take (roughly) to make a bracelet please? I'm trying to decide how many of each type to go for, tia

I bought mixed bags of 300 bands for 99p.
I think it depends what kind you are making, but the ones I've done in the pic don't take that many, there are more complicated ones which you'd need more for.

I bought a set for £5.99 which had the loom, 2 of the hooks, 600 bands and 24 'S' clips in it.

I think there has been some pretty good deals on Amazon and Ebay. I never paid attention before as my DD is only 4 so it had passed us by, until now! So might be worth checking them out :)

I rang them yesterday and told them I had purchased some fruit using the voucher and that I was disappointed in the quality and it had put me off purchasing anymore as it hadn't lasted ... She apologised and said that as it was in date she thought the store had not stored it correctly and was sending me a. £10 voucher... Before anyone blasts me for complaining as I got it free .. I was quite open and told her so but I think they need this feedback to make sure it doesn't continue to happen as I sure as don't want to be buying mouldy fruit :)

I think you did the right thing as well. I wish they would of had the decency to reply to my fb message, I just wanted my £1 back! I have mixed emotions, 50% of their fresh stuff is ok and the other 50% is awful! I was consious that it goes off quickly so stuck the raspberries and blueberries straight in the freezer and we are ploughing our way though the box of cherries which are surprisingly ok. The broccoli is looking dodgy and thats meant to be BB 9th!!
