Me to I bought some peaches before this voucher and they went really mouldy a couple of days before their BB date and I paid full price  I did message Morries on facebook but didnt get a reply and couldnt be bothered! The raspberries were/are ok but wouldnt buy them with real money. The cherries are nice. I've yet to taste the blueberries I put them straight in the freezer.

I wonder if it's something to do with they way Morries keep all their produce so cool? Yes, it all looks very fancy but it's probably not good to keep it all that cool when it's possibly not being kept in the same conditions once it leaves the store? Especially in this weather.
I don't know about other stores? but the produce section in mine is colder than the chilled aisles

I rang them yesterday and told them I had purchased some fruit using the voucher and that I was disappointed in the quality and it had put me off purchasing anymore as it hadn't lasted ... She apologised and said that as it was in date she thought the store had not stored it correctly and was sending me a. £10 voucher... Before anyone blasts me for complaining as I got it free .. I was quite open and told her so but I think they need this feedback to make sure it doesn't continue to happen as I sure as don't want to be buying mouldy fruit :)

Hope you're all enjoying your fruit and veg :D

Wonder if someone could help me. I have 3g mifi, it was on vodafone but I've managed to unlock it. I've been looking at ee data sims but on ebay the only ones for sell are 4g ones. My question is will the 3g mifi recognise a 4g sim??

    Evening all

Did three on Thursday . Feels so healthy to have such lovely fruit about. Does anyone think Morris strawberries go bad faster than tescos ?

Agree. don't rate the strawberries, no flavour and seem to be going off although still in date.
I think their fruit is quite poor in quality and flavour... Although my blueberries grapes and strawberries were still in date quid a few had mould in.

    Tend to concur.
Usually most of my fruit and veg is whoopsie stuff and I thought it would be great to buy f&v that was well in date and just what I fancied. However I am finding it isn't as fresh as I was expecting and don't think it is going to last as long as some of my normal whoopsie stuff does.
Think even soft fruit should last until the sell by date, but not complaining for what it cost.

Sorry I posted before I read of abailys baby news and fernie1's new grandchild.
    congratulations to both of you.

My next quest is for a decent bottle of vodka cheap as want to make some lemoncello. Sun+ sent me a ts giftcard yesterday so ideally like to buy from there but best deal really. I don't want a very cheap own brand though as takes a bit of work and I adore my lemoncello so like a brand name if possible.
Also plan to make banana jam. I have a reciepe I got from this forum during the great glitch when everyone was being imaginative using their fillers. Remember the mushy pea curry anyone?
Then Banana and walnut loaf preferably gluton free.

    V x

I have never tasted it, but somehow I managed to 'acquire' a load of lemons... so I am tempted to make it.

I have soe gin that will be two years old at Christmas... it will be lovely and treacly!

I think you did the right thing.. they know about the offer so it will not result in it ending. xx

    :D:D:D

Very very well. Spends alot of her time upside down for tummy tickles ♥ and is now venturing downstairs to sit in Fourp's TV watching chair :p :rotfl:

Latest game she has invented is skidding across landing on a F&F parcel bag :rotfl:

Agreed - my strawberries were not sweet tasting like Ts - no taste at all - had to cover them in sugar :o

It could be, our's is very cold as well, it's an odd shopping experience! The lettuce that I bought was swimming a bit in the packet, saying that we are munching our way though everything though :rotfl:.
