I stayed a travelodge on Friday night and I have to agree with youI am bad in hotels anyway
but I thought it was bad.
There was a large unexplained stain on the carpet, the bathroom bin still had the previous guest rubbish in and generally there was a real lack of basic cleanliness. I didn't really sleep
incidentally I had an email from them today asking for feedback, which is answered honestly  if they send me an offer of a free/cheap nights stay, I will be declining!!
I would go for a premier inn if looking for a clean, well furnished budget hotel0 -
I am still feeling very guilty.
:rotfl:
Honestly there is no need to, I just give my paperwork to hubby :rotfl:
After me saying I wasn't going out tonight, I gave in but failed to get any cleaning products, but pleased I caught the cheap bread and to make you laugh went into B & Q and found a lonely 1p pack of 3 England car fresheners :rotfl:0 -

My brother and sister are 10 and 13 so the PB and the like really appeal to them as it's not something they've seen much of what with us being country bumpkins :rotfl:
Wanna know what the best part about this trip is though?! I get to leave OH and DD at homeI know, I know, I'm a terrible person
But he doesn't like it there at all, it has bad memories for him and I'd rather take DD when she's a bit older.
Not terrible at all. We all need a break.
There's a few offers that you can get with Ts CC points for things. PB, zoo, tower as far as I remember. Might be worth a look?0 -

Could not agree more, the last time I stayed in a travel lodge I vowed never to again, was awful, that was about 4 years ago.
Always pick Premier Inns now usually spotless.0 -

No! I didn't want to ponder on it too long!
The place I was visiting was looking for around £100 a night for a premier inn :eek:
I hope you find something0 -

Probably best to avoid this one then! It was clean to be fair but the hotel was in need of a major overhaul. In the end price dictated for us as it was 4 of us in 2 rooms, but still cost over £200 for a night. We would have prefered premier but was price prohibitive. Hope you have a great time wherever you stay. We are planning another trip soon so let us know how you get on x.:)0
