But I do get the local rag and I'll keep an eye out for you and ask around for anything I don't already know about.
........if you agree to at least a coffee, or better still something stronger
That's a given
Cheers me dear much appreciated :kisses3:
Seeing as they're gonna let me gatecrash I figured I'd try and make it as :money: as possible! I've got a few CC vouchers put aside so will use them for the Pleasure Beach and the Tower. I'm not fussed about going to the Sand Castle but my brother and sister are desperate to go! The prices just make my eyes water :eek::rotfl:...those who mind don't matter, and those who matter don't mind.

Bit cheeky but does anyone have any recomendations for hotels in London in August :eek::eek::eek:, that are reasonably priced!! We've been invited to something we cant decline but dont want to spend a fortune, going to have to venuture into the real world and spend some money :cool:
You could try Travelodge, we stayed a month back overnight. A bit rough and ready with the decor but had all the basics and was a good price for cental london near kings cross and included breakfast.

We did think about them but I cant bring myself to do it, I cant do travelodges anymore, we use to use them all the time then they got to a point where they were grungy and stained, number one rule is clean the last one we stayed at we complained about the matress which was non existant with springs sticking up they gave DH a duvet to put ontop of it to sleep on, no cover it was stained all over vile.0 -

They do a lot of local offers around this time, the problem is you usually need to shell out an initial fortune then the rest of the year is free/cheap. You just need a local postcode. It's no good if you're only visiting once.
To be honest my kids are well past all that stuff. They yawn at the lights, they have no interest in the pleasure beach any more, the sandcastle is too busy for them, they're bored with the zoo and they've been up the tower more times than I care to mentionit's just not a novelty if it's on your doorstep.

I was sad that I used my last JL coffee and cake coupon today at the lovely sunny south session.
But good news when I returned home that I had post for another 3 months of coffee and cake coupons :j

I really should think before I open my mouth.I may have mentioned a few times on here about not finding the clear plastic filing trays, well TH found them and gave all she found to me. What an absolute angel. Can't thank her enough. :T:T:T

Consider yourself kicked!:footie::footie:
Think of all the extra value you'll be adding to your house if it looks lovely - much more than saving on children's clothes!
Thanx Nenen and Tiger, the kick did the trick :j
For the first time in over 15 years my lounge has 4 walls all painted in the same colours :j I'm so happy (and shattered) I've had the paint brush stuck to my hand all day
Can't believe we'll actually have a room that's been started AND finished (can you tell DH didn't do most of it)
