No idea lol. Looking at train times we will get into Paddington prob 9.30pm ish and dont like being out to late i'm a scaredy cat, will have DH and it will be fairly light as it's August but not miles away, but also some where that isnt dodgy but does have some places to eat, i'm not fussy at all :rotfl::rotfl:
I think PD was asking where the function is so that she can recommend a nearby hotel...:D

I would look at a premier inn or travel lodge

Probably why it's in the reduced cabinet.

I never log in on my phone and at first glance the new forum looked mobile friendly but it is anything but :( Found the the thread but no way to navigate to the last page - it wanted me to go through every page  You see half a pic, links disappear of the page.

Sigs dont display properly on any format.

Bleugh! DD nagged me non stop till I bought these.
They're still in my fridge as all the kids thought they were nasty!

They do a lot of local offers around this time, the problem is you usually need to shell out an initial fortune then the rest of the year is free/cheap. You just need a local postcode. It's no good if you're only visiting once.
To be honest my kids are well past all that stuff. They yawn at the lights, they have no interest in the pleasure beach any more, the sandcastle is too busy for them, they're bored with the zoo and they've been up the tower more times than I care to mention :o it's just not a novelty if it's on your doorstep.

Yeah I can imagine that side of it would lose it's shine if you're living there. I just have such memories of going there when I was wee and am desperate to go back :o My brother and sister are 10 and 13 so the PB and the like really appeal to them as it's not something they've seen much of what with us being country bumpkins :rotfl:

Wanna know what the best part about this trip is though?! I get to leave OH and DD at home :o I know, I know, I'm a terrible person :p But he doesn't like it there at all, it has bad memories for him and I'd rather take DD when she's a bit older.

I really should think before I open my mouth. :o I may have mentioned a few times on here about not finding the clear plastic filing trays, well TH found them and gave all she found to me. What an absolute angel. Can't thank her enough. :T:T:T
