Isn't there a Yorkshire bank current with interest as well???

And also there are still a few monthly savings accounts worth having eg £300 into a first direct ( you need to open a current account and have £1k going in each month but I put it in and then take £700 back out again same day )
Also CHeshire building society platinum account £500 a month max still pays 3% - checked this one on Thursday
Yorkshire BS is £250 a month max as well

These are useful for savings towards next years ISAs :D

Yes...absolutely. I mentioned about drip feeding regular savers later.

Clydesdale Bank and Yorkshire Building Society used to have current accounts with 4% interest; however, these are no longer available.

    That's teeny!!

All this talk of mys for whiskas....have you maxed out the £2 per box on offer from cos/cs (redeemable twice)?

Ps. I think you mixed up coke coupons and pepsi shopiteyes ;)

I got the packs of 8 cans for Shopotize and the free bottles as well although now I think about it, it was a bit mad getting both.
Yes I do mix up coke zero and Pepsi max - not being a coke drinker they all look the same to me :D I also can't get my head around having 3 sizes now -1.5, 1.75 and 2l bottles - just wish OH would drink value sparkling water like me, cheaper, simpler etc

Yes sadly I seem to have maxed out COS but I can still get £2 on myl on 2 boxes of Whiskas for £5 - not too bad esp on a TPP shop or even a BM shop.

I got some small button mushrooms this morning on the reduced section in Morrisons - I can't help myself.

Is it best to peel and slice them before freezing - ie I can't be lazy and just freeze them whole?
