I received the following email today:
    trinidadone (appellant)

    v

    Parkingeye Ltd (operator)

    Dear XXXXXXXXXXX

The operator issued parking charge notice number ***************
arising out of a presence of on private land, of a vehicle with registration mark ++++++++++.

The appellant appealed against the liability for the parking charge.

The Assessor has considered the evidence of both parties and has determined that the appeal be allowed.

The assessor's reasons are set out.

The operator should now cancel the parking charge notice forthwith.

I am so pleased. This is my first PCN/invoice which I have challenged. I have gained a lot of knowledge through this process. thank you to everyone who contributed, and for newbies, DONT PAY, DONT IGNORE, and make sure you submit a challenge

    yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah

Was this the result of PE submitting no case to POPLA (their current MO when faced with a forum assisted appeal, especially with a strong GPEOL statement)?
Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

Spread the word with colleagues, family & friends how easy POPLA is to beat these parking scams when you know the magic words. The harder appeals are those for IPC members as their stupid appeals system works differently and no 'GPEOL' isn't the magic word for them (but we are getting there!).

    Well done! :D
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
