Called First Utility this evening to find out when the opening readings were sent to Scottish Power so they could produce a final bill.
Total queue time to FU was 30 mins - but at least they tell you your position in the queue every so often so you don't lose hope like you do with SP.
The call handler was very good, and told me the reads had been sent to the national database, and had confirmation sent back to them. Elec was confirmed on 24th Aug and gas on 30th July!
So yet again on hold to SP to find out why they don't seem able to get these readings... 15 mins in the queue with no way of knowing how close you are.... god I'm becoming irrational in my hatred for this company!!!!!!0
