You have already been refunded so maybe should have purchased new ones when you recieved the money from either instore or another source.0

If your work is so time critical surely you would go to a store and get them yourself?0

Advice is to take your business elsewhere, and if the goods are time critical for your business to use a business supplier. What more do you want Hobbycraft to do?0

Why would I do that, when they promised to deliver in time, then let me down twice after several apologetic emails?
Again, they promised to deliver in time so why would I? Also I have no car and these were far too large to take on the bus.
I'm not going to be treated as though it's my fault. I've been let down badly and need advice, not criticism.
Nobody has said it's your fault or criticised, but common sense would dictate that if these were needed for time sensitive projects/orders then maybe other arrangements should of been made. Relying on deliveries for such can be a disaster waiting to happen. Hobbycraft apologised and refunded you, you now have the items but they now belong to Hobbycraft so call tthem and see what they want to do. If they decide they want them returning ask them to arrange the courier etc, this should be done in a manner not to inconvienience you, they may just say keep them.
I don't know what other advice you are after.0 -

To be honest OP you are not going to be paid compensation for a late delivery from Hobbycraft, and they refunded you before the items were eventually delivered. You could offsourced them from several other places if they were so important. Have you tried Ebay some sellers offer next day delivery.0

Long story short OP ordered canvasses. They didnt arrive so hobbycraft refunded. Canvasses have now shown up damaged. OP is mad because they can't now use the free canvasses and is claiming £1000 (or perhaps it was more, cant remember) for loss of earnings as they are a business and not a consumer.
OP doesnt realise they have a statutory duty to mitigate their losses (or that b2b contracts usually exclude loss of earnings) and is getting lippy with the people asking why he hasnt mitigated his losses.
I think that sums it up, if i've missed anything i'm sure others will enlighten usYou keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means - Inigo Montoya, The Princess Bride0 -

To be honest, what he wanted seemed to be a closely guarded secret...0
