Ok i take your point, but when you say 14 in 12 months, do you mean spread right out? or like 4 or 5 in one month. Thats the difference.
And yes ok you have no problems getting credit,
have you got a mortgage?
what type of credit are you getting? are you been given 10 or 15,000 as a starter limit? with all due respect we can all say we can get credit...its just what kind of credit...I could get a 1 million pound loan tomorrow, if im prepared to pay 60% interest e.t.c
Sorry I'm a bit late here.
Yes I have a mortgage.
And the credit I have got for example was a £5000 HSBC Mastercard, and a £7000 loan with Halifax on the top rate.. which I was thought was pretty good.
Especially as I have a lot of missed payments about 3-5 years ago0 -
I got my Cred file, nothing detrimental on their at all. But I think I have found the route of the problem! I spoke to halifax's underwriting and they said they wont overturn my decline as because......... i have had too many addresses in the last 3 years ( 5!) and i havent been on the electoral role for any of them - so basically if didn't want to pay, it would be very hard for them to get hold of me. They basically said, i need to stop moving! They agreed that everything else was fine. So, i guess that is why the other two declined me aswell. I haven't applied for the M&S card now, I don't see any point really. My 0% is up and the balance has gone to 11.9% APR, which in fairness is'nt as bad as it could be! And i also have the same amount in savings if i wanted to clear it. I just wanted two, so i could do BT's between them both.Halifax CC [STRIKE]£1322.88[/STRIKE] £0 :j 11.9% Virgin CC [STRIKE]£1534.76[/STRIKE] £1384.76 0% until AUG 13. Hi, just a quick question, I wonder if anyone can help?
Basically, I want to apply for a new credit card, probably an &More card, so that I can transfer a balance from another card where the interest rate is really high. Thing is, I have recently started a new job after being made redundant from my previous job, and have only been working here just under a month. I notice that part of the application form for the &More card you have to put down your employer and your time in that employment. Does anyone know, will the fact I've only been in this job for a month mean I'm likely to get turned fown for the card? If so, are there any other cards which might be more lenient?
Thanksmuch work to be done - new sig coming soon...0
