I've been saying this for weeks. FIFA officials (who were s*** scared of Brazil going out of the tournament too early and the potential riots) conspired to ensure Brazil reached the final weekend through outrageous refereeing decisions such as offsides that were not given or were given to the opposition, red cards not being handed out when they should have been, disallowed goals for the opposition and god knows how many other bad calls. It got to the point where they were actually questioned over this. Of course they denied it. But to the watching fan it was clear Brazil's route to the semi final was totally FIFA manufactured. Had it not been for this blatant cheating Brazil would have been lucky to get out of the group stages.

So, when they come up against genuine top quality - especially Germany - they were always going to lose. This behaviour by FIFA cheated the fans of a true and genuine tournament (where Brazil were concerned). Against Germany and to a lesser extent against Holland they got exactly what they deserved. They are the poorest Brazil team that I have ever seen. They are dirty, clueless, no formation, no leadership, make far too many basic errors (that even an English none league team wouldn't make) and their defending doesn't even begin to exist.

Now all that being said, I feel sorry for the Brazilian public. It's not their fault FIFA did this. They have so much passion for the game (there was one small girl pelting out the national anthem before kick off and she about summed it up what football means to them) but manufacturing Brazils World Cup the way FIFA did is unfair on them.

david luiz or silva tonight - ordering his defence and midfield, shouting at players, telling them who to watch etcc... I cant think of 1 single monet in the 2 matches..

(ie look when most of the prem teams play 1 person the captian is issuing orders constantly)

As maine says maybe those players didnt even want to be there, due to the clear 'let brazil thru rule'..

Also, with FIFA, wouldn't be surprised if, miraculously, Suarez gets a lesser punishment now that he is on his way to Barcelona. I know FIFA have rejected his appeal but Barcelona seem to get away with murder.

They incurred a 2 year ban on all transfers after dodgy dealings with Neymay transfer which, after appeal, has been suspended. I doubt very much that this suspension will ever resurface.

Time for a revolution + no more buy-out clauses - bound by contract.
