Watching Messi, I sometimes wonder if he has had his right foot amputated (like Jack Wilshere) . I think I saw him use it twice last night.

Having said that, his left foot is pretty useful.

Thats looks right to me toniq,
And yes compsa it really was adull 'lets play for penos' affair, which pee's me off considering arguably 4 of the worlds top 10 players were on the pitch!
(Messi, Robben, Van Persie, higuain - although personally I would add Mascherano to that list, but was it just a 1 off performance as per)

Ive watched messi a few times via wiziwig this year when playing for barca, and he sometimes is magical.
But i have never seen him bring what he can do for barca to the national teams.
(and he doesnt seem to like 'moving much' unless hes got the ball)

I know there have been a few 'world class' players who just cant seem to bring it to the biggest stage of all???
Its a shame because if he and di maria could hit club form, they would be more fancied in the final, but it wont happen.

Germany are clear faves across the board with the bookies, and as for toniqs gamble i cant find an exact price for 1,2,3,4th. But i guess you may get 5/1 ish.

Cant wait to see Brazil saturday, it will be EXTREMELY interesting!?
What will they do? how will they play? will they even bother playing neymar?
    - will he even volunteer to play (or maybe a *mystery* injury will 'force him out') and Daveed louise!

5-1 to Miroslav Klose (with the rest of the German team along to back him up)

Robben might as well donate his right leg.

That could make an interesting player - who sounds more talented - Arjen Messi or Lionel Robben?

Maybe, but if scoring the goal that got you the premiership is basically all he's done, its not much of a career.
The fact is since his first injury hes lost what he had in his first season at city.
(ive never seen him run as fast as he did 11/12 season)
So he's living off that goal against qpr when city won title in his first season.
Some players can shrug off injuries and some are doomed.
There has been loads over the last few years, its a shame but its a contact sport.

Vlaar had a brilliant game tonight for the Dutch and has been consistent throughout.

Brazil - not impressed in the slightest. Greatly overrated - one man team.

Brazil were poor, i was extremely kind by saying they'd score 2!
    They were very poor.

Vlaar has been awesome, only msacherano is better (see tomorrow you can get 10/1 for him to be player of tournament, if i were a gambler id be betting on that)
