    Time will tell just how durable these products are. Our first was supplied approx 4 years ago with a 17mm laminate worktop and its working perfectly.....but they have stood the test of time and our suppliers have extended the offering .

    So what? The OP wants to fit an undermount sink to a 38mm
    worktop. Pointless wittering on about 17mm worktops.
    In any event you state you have no idea of their durability but think if a worktop lasts 4 years it has stood the test of time!!!

    How long do you expect your chipboard storage boxes to last? (You will erroneously know it as quality kitchen cabinetry or some other pretentious term.):rotfl:

    I was particularly restrained don't you think? Must be getting old.
