hi guys my registered keeper has two parking charges notice's for stopping on a roadway were stopping is prohibited at humberside airport.
one for dropping some one off an one for collecting the same folk. if they had mailed a day earlier some one wouldnt have done the same trick twice i guess.
i see the company is now called vehicle control services an looking threw all these posts i havent seen any thing for stopping on a road way were stopping is prohibited, is this the same kinda letter i need to write for all these parking letters pls, a 60 pound fine seams excessive but its now 120 for doing some one a favour !!!!
any help would be very gratefull cheers

Are VCS still citing "POFA 2012" (or Protection of Freedoms Act 2012) and 'registered keeper liability' anywhere on the letter to keeper, including on the back?New members, please refer to "sticky" threads that are alwasys "stuck" at the top of this forum0

And you do not have a fine, its a speculative invoice they hope you will be frightened into paying!0

put the word HUMBERSIDE into the search box and you will find dozens of threads with this scenario , as ably demonstrated by bazster above
you mean a £60 speculative invoice (times two) , nobody has been "fined" here0 -
Just for enightenment, Councils and Police can fine someone so the private parking companies say you have been fined to fool you into thinking that it is an official penalty and you MUST pay. Its a bit of a con really. Unfortunately many people believe this and just pay up.I'd rather be an Optimist and be proved wrong than a Pessimist and be proved right.0

i did the humberside thing guys, but what i ment was, i have seen replys about the fines but not with that company !! i wasnt sure if it was the same
regarding............ Are VCS still citing "POFA 2012" (or Protection of Freedoms Act 2012) and 'registered keeper liability' anywhere on the letter to keeper, including on the back?
yes they are stating that . so as its a speculative invoice do i still need to write to them or just ignore it !!! can u email them ???
if i do have to write to them do i need to do 2 x letter or one letter with both fines on it0 -
you havent got any fines
only a fool would ignore these as its in england and they may go to court
follow the instructions and template letter in the NEWBIES sticky thread , then go to popla if they dont cancel (appeal each one separately , but use the same templates)
look at all the linked examples for similar cases , bearing in mind there may be dozens or hundreds of similar cases regarding various airports , especially JLA as well as humberside
your invoices are nothing new as we get reports about this every week , so follow previous advice0 -

I don't think you actually have your facts right with that one, that's one thing they dare not say!0 -

There are two car parks, one for Tesco and one for B&Q and others on a S!!!!horpe retail park and a sign to try and deter parking for the football and it does say that anyone caught parking will be fined.:rotfl:0 -
