PCN from VCS Humberside Airport

Hi All,
Received a PCN from VCS of Sheffield for my wife stopping in a bus pick up bay to pick me up last week, the Photo's show the car with break lights on stopping for 5 seconds and have issued a £60 (reduced) fine (from £100)
It is classed as a "No Stopping/Waiting in Restricted Areas or Roadways" charge and are asking the drivers details
Am I best using the well written letter from Coupon-Mad here in the VCS ticket from Robin Hood Airport thread (Can't post a link as it won't let me yet)
Or have they managed to word things different now in the "No Stopping/Waiting" wording?
Do you think it would be of any use contacting the Airport manager to complain as i had just dropped off a hire van hired from the Airports premises
Any help would be greatful as I really can't afford this fine on top of moving house last week and my Wife losing her purse full of cash yesterday!!!

As this is the first appeal, use the generic first appeal letter I have shown in the 'Private parking ticket? NEWBIES read this first!' sticky thread for now.
The POPLA win will follow when you use a decent VCS/Airport POPLA appeal template (and no they haven't covered themselves re stopping zones, nothing has changed!). And they will in fact lose on the fact they haven't shown this to be a 'GPEOL' (see the NEWBIES thread for acronyms explained!).
And in fact we HAVE heard about successes from people who have contacted the Airports that are owned by Peel Holdings and complained to them (not sure who owns Humberside Airport but Google is your friend). However you WILL WIN at POPLA anyway so you may not want to bother at this stage as it's just a matter of two template appeals, job done by April!PRIVATE 'PCN'? Dear Sir/Madam
This is an automated response notification regarding your APPEAL/CHALLENGE to a Parking Notice.
Please be advised that we acknowledge receipt of your email, and will be responding directly to you in due course. However, prior to doing so we require the following information in advance to enable us to process your APPEAL/CHALLENGE. If you have not already done so, please forward the following information as a matter of urgency, as we are unable to process your APPEAL/CHALLENGE without it:
1) The PARKING NOTICE SERIAL NUMBER This can be found in the top right hand corner of the Notice and will be prefixed, SERIAL No. VC/____________.
2) A FULL POSTAL ADDRESS that we can correspond with, as all decisions are conveyed in a letter to the motorist.
3) The FULL NAME of the motorist.
If you are unable to locate the PARKING NOTICE SERIAL NUMBER we will require the full vehicle registration number of the vehicle to which the NOTICE was served.
Please be advised that Vehicle Control Services Ltd cannot accept any responsibility for any increase in the NOTICE CHARGE should YOU fail to provide us with the requested information within 7 (SEVEN) days from the date of this email.

No that's a standard auto-response so now just wait, they have 35 days to reply. Keep checking your old post at the old address every week or get a redirection done, as VCS will probably ignore a new address and you mustn't miss their response and POPLA code when it comes.
And if your car is still registered to the old address but kept at the new one you MUST tell the DVLA the new address immediately or you'll get a real penalty!PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
