On or just after July 28th apparently, apologies for the broken thread, I thought it would be easier but now realise I should have left it on one. Just one more silly question....

Have noticed today (after living here for 5 years) when I went to take photos of the locations of the signage in case they suddenly erect new ones that there are 2 signs on the opposite side of the road attached to the block of flats the same as the one up a lamp post (still not readable while driving) IF they fulfill their obligation and send me evidence disproving my initial belief that there were only 2 signs not 4 can I then demonstrate that they breach bpa cop as they are not lit or on reflective material so impossible to see at night and still ambiguously worded or should I send an amendment to popla by email? I'm guessing you will tell me that it's irrelevant as the gpeol argument will be the winner anyway but I don't want to lose because I didn't know the signs were there although it goes to show how obvious they are if I've never seen them before.

Very probably - but look out for the evidence arriving (or not, as the case may be) because you get the right of reply if you are quick and can email further observations to POPLA when you see the rubbish CPM submit. So bide your time and check your spam/junk emails folder regularly!

Ok, so the 28th came and went and I've heard nothing from popla or any sort of evidence pack. Should I chase popla or just wait? I think I saw one post mention that they had a back log a while ago.

Appeal allowed!!!! I was encouraged by all your optimism but couldn't quite let myself believe that I would win so I can live with the disappointment of a hollow victory when they failed to submit any evidence. Massive thank you to everyone who offered support particularly coupon-mad, Dee and Bazster and sorry again for asking silly questions. Just one more to wait for now!

Well done. It is good to see the win as I know you were worried. As Redx said, copy decision onto POPLA for us please.

Dee and Redx, will do and I'll do the same when I get the email for the other one.

Bazster, I had worked out all but the 2nd word! Should have realised. I've bookmarked your advice on my other thread re parking over 48 hours and will let you know if I ever have to use it. I've emailed the appeal to a few neighbours ;0)
