The photos they take are never evidence of anything, it's just part of the effort to intimidate you.

You don't need arguments about minute circumstances anyway, there are much better ones. Get that sign posted up here!

Fixed that for you. You are beginning to understand the kind of scum you are dealing with.

Incidentally, are we talking about residential parking here? If so, what is your status with regard to (i) your home and (ii) the parking area i.e. are you freeholders, leaseholders or tenants? (n.b. it could be different for your home and the parking).

They really are!! Yes, it's residential parking. We own the leasehold on our flat and have one allocated parking space. The car was parked in the additional communal parking area. There is 1 sign as you enter the road approx 2m up a lamp post and the other sign at our end is on a bollard so short that when a car is parked next to it it is totally obscured from view. I'll show you a photo....

Post the link without the http:// part. (There'll be a box on the right in Photobucket that'll copy the relevant link into Windows' clipboard when you click on it).

I just thought it demonstrated how poor the signage is when the only one at this end is on the 3rd bollard to the right of the balcony post and this is obscured when a car parks in that space. Sorry, I meant to explain! If you don't think I have a valid point on signage I'll stick with the gpeol, just want to make sure I cover everything in my draft so I'm asking you guys to fine tune rather than rewrite it.

OK, so the car wasn't in your allocated space at the time but in a communal parking area, is that right?

We need to see a piccy of the signs please, because this bunch try to play silly beggars with the wording.

In terms of inadequate signage of course you have a valid point, but in terms of attacking GPEOL we need to know exactly what the (inadequate) signs say.
