Living Social iPad deal - help

    Thanks for informing that you have received yours. Still waiting for mine and in the midst if this 7 day Living Social investigation.

    Will definitely not be using Living Social again; given the poor form of businesses they partner with.

  • Well at least a couple of people are happy and it obviously gives us just a glimmer of hope that we may be lucky in the end, what a company.

    I still stick by my view that offers from companies like this should not be listed on a site which is supposed to battle for consumer rights. Again making money rules

    Yet another frustrating conversation with Living Social. No tracking number or sign of it being delivered.

    Confirmed they have a batch of 250 delivered on Monday and Tuesday and still waiting for confirmation on the rest.

  • Success ! mine arrived Friday afternoon only 3 days late. Pleased with this ipad but will not use LS again

    Sometimes there's a balance between money saving and hassle.

    Buy from a respected website would have been so much better despite it costing an extra £5.
  • Hi all,

    We've been in touch with LivingSocial today about the delay and it said there was a problem with some deliveries which has now been resolved. It told us all remaining orders should be delivered by Friday.

    Spending £340 quid on something that does not arrive by the promised date and nor is there any comms to say it will or on their progress, is quite a big deal for some people.

    Thanks for the above update, mine has arrived today, a week later. Saved me the hassle of a refund battle, pleased about that.
  • I also called Living Social today, for the third time (!), apparently all of the iPads have now been shipped, but they were unable to provide me with a tracking number... they will email it to me within 2 day (unbelievable!).
  • My Ipad also arrived at last after more than 3 weeks but not Euro version as promised has US plug on it with crappy adapter so will have to buy a docking station so not such a bargain after all, oh well I suppose you get what you pay for and I have learned a big lesson. Hope everyone else gets theirs best of luck
