Mrs MP.. the teacher is away on the residential until tonight so I've not seen her.
Vet was very pleased with Crackenstein yesterday, he has AB's to start on Saturday as a precaution as he is a bit swollen still so they just want to cover possible infection though he is healing nicely with no weeping or anything. He was purring too loud for them to hear his heart rate and yowling constantly too.. but he was very good. I didn't even need to shove him back in the cat box he just got in of his own accord.
I need to take him back next Thursday 10:30am so can't make the appointment for my other old mog just yet... though, I might call his old vet see if they did the thyroid check before his op when he had that lump removed from his back.

On going argument with DD2  her bl@ckberry is playing up so really could do with a new phone which I can't afford at the moment. She's got it into her head she wants an iphone! This isn't going to happen. She's not the most careful person with previous phones. So she announces she'll get one with her maintenance her dad is meant to be paying  I had to explain again it wasn't for a phone but for normal living expenses. She then says she'll ask him to buy her one for her birthday but get it now :rotfl: I said yeah get him to pay the contract as well then :rotfl: How can she think he'll do that when he doesn't do anything else?!
She's now on a mission so make/save some money on the hope I'll put towards a new phone.
Lots to do today, especially as DD1 says the boyfriend's staying tonight! Off to strip the bed . . .

Wendy. tbf.. iphones are not easy to break. OH broke the screen on his twice, in 7 years.. once he dropped it and stepped on it and another time it was dropped onto paving and bounced a couple of times.. mine has a tiny scratch on the screen and that's it. I wouldn't explain anything about the money her dad pays, it is between you and him and nothing to do with her. I don't think mine are aware KH pays anything because it is nothing to do with them. Kudos to her if she can save the £300+ for one from ebay or wherever
.. and it is almost impossible to buy second hand and change to your own details now, they have put in a feature where in order to reset to factory settings you have to log in to your icloud account and do it all through that, apparently it wants your own details as seller and the details including password of the new owner.. OH's BIL tried swapping his to OHs sister (his wife obv.) and is having to take it into an apple store to get it sorted!!

Just doing the list and then off to bed.
Peterborough. Quiet uproar I think. Lots of people not paying it. But some people really dont have a choice e.g if they have a large garden, are elderly or don't have a car. We probably use the brown bin less than ten times a year. We have a small composter but it is full and after 3 years still haven't had any compost from it!Grocery challenge-

Morning all
I'm going to have a HHC [STRIKE]at 10am[/STRIKE] now, if anyone feels like joining me. Going to make a start with the dailies in the kitchen, see if I can get all the washing up done and the place straightened up.
Creeping back in for accountability after falling off the wagon in 2016.Need to get back to old style in modern ways, watching the pennies and getting stuff done!0 -
Morning! DS back at school, his knee is much smaller, but I had a quiet word with teacher as he is stiff so the getting up and down (they sit on the floor in reception) will be a bit slower. She offered a chair but he didn't want to be different to the others, she said she will keep an eye on him and remind him to be a bit careful today. Happily it's non uniform day so he has shorter shorts that don't keep catching his sore bit.
Then DD and I took the old bike to the tip. There is a B&M nearby so we got most of our shopping needs in there. So we are all set for tomorrow's picnic. The kitchen is cluttered with shopping though, which is my next stop after my cuppa.
Then I will go upstairs and unpile the clothes in the spare room. Holiday stuff, some of which can go in the case in the loft.Bossymoo
Away with the fairies :beer:0 -

Hoping Dot naps soon, she was up until 11 last night after a 2 minute nap when I was doing dinner last night, I need to avoid that. Pixie won't go to bed until about 10pm again and she woke up 5 minutes after I got in bed last night and spent the night with me
