Been catching up with laundry and emails so far.

Bossy hope DS's knees get easier as the day goes on.

Struggling to find any GUAG today so think I shall be mainly pottering.

Sprinkle bicarb on.. leave for a while and vacuum off.. it is supposed to get rid of stinky smells.. in my experience, it doesn't.. but others swear by it. TBH, I just air the mattress every day or 2 and it doesn't smell.

I've just sprinkled bicarb over the mattresses to help deodorise them. I've used this method for years, I just need to remember to vacuum it all off before DD comes home and sits on it!

DD's shoes are now filled with bicarb and sitting inside scented binbags in the hopes to get the rotting meat smell gone  Last thing I smelt this bad was her foot when she got trench foot when her leg was in plaster a couple of years back. There must have been something in the water or her feet must have gotten soaked at the start, then being in them for 7 hours in the hot weather...*shudders* As far as I am concerned they can stay that way until Saturday night (she'll probably want to wear them on Sunday to go out with ex) :rotfl: Upstairs already smells sweeter ;)

I've cleaned the bathroom, just the floor needs doing now, dishes washed and another batch after lunch should see it cleared until tea time (the joys of filling the drainer with bulky stuff first), and a washload on. After catching up on email etc for the last HH I best get on with some work ;)

Went out for a a walk to pick elerflowers, 2 hours latr I'm home, only went about 1k in all but stop 4 times in my road to chat with neighbours.

Time for a cuppa and to start the cordial, make a cake and then I might make it to the garden. I have a sore throat, I think it is coming to the end of a stressful time and starting to relax.

Just heard DS shouting "stupid cow" runs into living room and see he's playing mario kart and actually has crashed - into a cow :rotfl: so he wasn't being horrid to his sister lol

Mum has been here so I popped out to collect parcel, put DD prescription in and swap books at library.

I think we may be having a nap this afternoon...

2 WM loads out, proper dinner made and eaten already, kitchen cleaned up after, DS still limping around (it's more swollen now :() but conservatory carpet is littered with Lego and toy cars.

Kids are not impressed with my idea of nap time :D
