    hello all

    plan coming together...;)

Have emptied DW and pegged out a washload (before work); was whites and a couple of sheets. the stain on one sheet (i think it was orange ice lolly - rolleyes.gif) has bleached off in the sun so I am very pleased about that!

Have brushed the stair carpet to remove hair (cat) - might do landing and vacuum too - just to be posh :rotfl:

Stairs didn't get washed but chocolate melted, poured into small disc-ish shapes and dotted with chopped apricots, whole almonds and hazelnuts. Roast 'armadillo' is out of the oven, and just for Ionafan, roast guinea pig looks, in this particular case, very much like a bit of roast chicken but there you go, that's just a co-incidence. It's tomorrow, btw; clearly people who like Iona aren't into footie. :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

    Evening all

    Garden watered
    DS3 sunglasses located
DS3 homework printing problem sorted (by DH)
    Washing in
    Bed remade

    Not a lot but something.

    Welcome ShirePixie.

Skinty great news on the insurance

Bossy - that is short notice to cancel it, hope it works out

Valli - my fingers are still crossed

Lamewolf - where are you? Thought you'd be back by now, miss you x

Tomorrow's paid stuff moved to Friday, tomorrow's friend moved to Monday - I now have a free day tomorrow until DS3's cricket - hoping it is dry so I can get some gardening done or if wet it shall be paperwork.

    I've done zilch. Really CBA.

DS shouted me again from bed, he doesn't want to go to the summer club at nursery - he didn't like it (actually last summer he really didn't, and they are just rubbish, one of the school mums told me they've forgotten to collect her DD 3 times for after school club ). I've texted MIL on her hols as she was asking how we all are, and she said don't worry about the school hols we'll sort it :A plus my mums foster kids won't be with her by the end of term so if she doesn't get more during the hols she will have them too.

    Thank heaven for grannies!

Think I'll just go to bed X

Keep on napping, Dancemum: it's definitely OK to enjoy a few zzz when you can grab them. Many years have passed since that first great-nephew arrived, but I'm *still* a great-aunt and I need to rest my eyes more than ever nowadays :rotfl:

Long and involved meeting attended. Very unsatisfactory all round. And DH (who was at the same meeting) is in a mood but won't say why.

    Bed calls... Goodnight all.

    Beautiful blanket.

So, I decided to clean the blind in the office (silver venetian, looks nice but is hopelessly impractical). What a nightmare. Took it outside and washed it, brought it in and dried it off then hung it back up and there were still bits I had missed. However it now shines which is a rare thing.
    .

I find an old paintbrush quite useful for cleaning venetians ;)
I have JUST heard about flylady on another thread and am intrigued. My attention span when it comes to cleaning/ tidying/ sorting is mayfly like! I think this could be for me!

A warm welcome to the mad flying club :hello:
Good news, had letter from car insurance this morning ...no need to go to court Mr "I can't drive for a W£rth£r's Original"'s insurance company has settled with my insurer out of court, my NCB is fully reinstated :j:j:j:j

Also cleaned micros and wiped down all cupboard fronts.

    Tuesday - Living room, Hall
    all done

Wednesday - Master Bedroom and Landing
    Only got 15 minutes
Change the bed, hoover the matress, turn it if you can

    Thursday - Bathrooms
    Only got 15 minutes

    Clean toilets and sinks
    30 minutes to spare
    Change the towels
    Wipe the splashbacks
    Clean the bath and shower
    Extras
    HHPaperwork

Made a new recipe today for lunch which I saw last week and planned for today. Took longer than i thought - Herby Asparagus and Bacon Tart. It was really nice and had with new pots and salad.

Don't know if I'll get any flying done tomorrow as paid work all day but will try to catch up Friday

Hope you all have a great Thursday
