    Evening all.

Just popping in to update my list before I go to bed. I'm shattered. Road closures due to a RTA & therefore bus diversions are not good when you've been on a book buying session and have 8kg worth to carry about 1.5miles home :o The RTA was quite bad, it happened at 10am, and the road (main road into the city centre!) didn't re-open until nearly 4pm! It caused chaos and there was no-one letting people waiting at the bus stops know the buses were diverted so I must have told about 30 people at various bus stops along the route that the bus wouldn't be showing up. I felt really sorry for the pensioners and those who didn't really speak much English :( Took the bus company/local travel company 2 hours to notify people via Tw1tter and they only seemed to mention it after I'd tweeted them saying it wasn't on leaving people standing at the bus stops for so long considering how long the buses had already been diverted for!

Flying wise I've done more laundry, tided up the livingroom & kitchen, washed a batch of dishes while tea cooked, and bought some new bags for henry so when I vacuum now it should work much better :o I also bought some foil dishes so I can batch cook some meals for the freezer and DD can make smaller cheesecakes ;) Tomorrow I need to find homes for all the new books I bought today, but at 29p each in one shop I wasn't going to walk away from a load of classics :D:p

    Ok here goes this week!

Art supplies away - just 3 paintbrushes soaking which I'll clean tomorrow morning & then I'll put them away tomorrow evening, everything else is either binned or put away ;)

    WUDUPA
    make pack-up for work
    sorted paperwork for new account
    sorted paperwork for WTC
    started on registering for s/employed
off to paid work - home at 20.45

Feeling quite good today as it's so nice to see the sun and be able to have all the windows open. It's really unusual here as living on the Firth of Forth it is usually that windy :rotfl: even if it's warm (another anomaly).

Really I'm not exaggerating - there is only a bit of a common garden and a road between me and the Firth.

Shouldn't moan as it's a lovely ever changing view, different every day, and we get to watch all the birds. ATM we have the gannets diving for fish just into the deep - brilliant !!!

Sorry - I'm tired and burbling - off to zzzz

Hope you all have a wonderful Wednesday

    Morning all.

Pigpen - The blanket is lovely and you've inspired me to get my knitting project back out. Only problem is that I've forgotten how the pattern works so I'll be sitting watching the youtube video again before I can carry on :o

Valli - Good luck. Hope it goes well.

I'm still in my pjs but I'm going to fly until 9ish as some of the shops I want to go to today probably won't be open much before 10am ;) First things first, finding a home for the books which were bought yesterday. Then I'm going to do some ironing as the clothes I want to wear today as they're cool are in the pile.

    Kitchen units all sparkled,
Microwave binned.. Swan one.. it was rubbish, paint started peeling within a week of having it! I am going to see how we do without one .. and if I decide I need one I am getting a cheapy cheap supermarket one.
    Recycling out, rubbish out
Laundry gathered and WM's both partially filled.

OH has been commanded to mop the kitchen and I am going to sparkle the loo and bathroom.

One day I will have a habitable, clean and uncluttered house... Stop laughing!!!

Pixie smelling so OH can deal with that while I do lunch for the pinks
