Well a no spend day for me today have spent most of the day lying on the couch watching movies and eating rubbish!
Decided late on that I wanted to get some tidying done my flat is like an episode of hoarders  I keep everything. I really need to get organised and get rid of my junk. I managed to half fill a bin bag of rubbish and another of recycling but not made much progress. My husband says I've done loads and I do feel better for sorting things out just wish I'd started earlier as I would gave got so much more done!
I have sorted out all my Avon books and condensed everything into one box and tidied it out so it's only relevant stuff in it instead of random junk.
I did find £2 and some loose change so I have popped the loose change into two different sealed tins and am keeping the £2 until I have checked my bank in the morning before making my PAD to see if I can add to this.
I also found a receipt that I was looking for to claim back money through shopitize so have managed to get 35p from there. Well I will once I can withdraw it as at the moment I've still to reach £5
Am going to check all my survey accounts to see if there are any that I can do. I always get really bored with them so don't bother finishing them but I need to make time to do this. Am also thinking about trying to get back into entering competitions instead of looking at what bargains I can find.... Really need to get rid of stuff not bring in more junk!!
Off to bed now will update in the morning once I've checked out the bank situation xDEBT OUTSTANDING 23.04.17 £16802.970 -
Am working at 5.30 tonight so should be getting ready right now but can't be bothered! Wish I didn't have to go in today. Having a pretty bad day today realised that last night I flung out an envelope with my Christmas money in it £50
would have been fine if it hadn't been bin collection day today
Not anything I can do about this now
I have made my payment today of £10 this was before I realised I'd lost that money.
I transferred my money from my paypal account today from a refund from argos of postage so that £3.95 went into my bank towards my £10 payment.
I'm waiting on my barclaycard statement being issued before I make the £300 payment I need to pay this month. I just want it paid so am hoping that the statement will be produced tomorrow.
Checked all my survey accounts and did all available ones. Managed to declutter my email accounts today so instead of over 1000 emails I now have 2 :j
Better get ready for work

Hi buddiebabe, just wanted to say hello. I've just gone back to the PAD thread after a couple of years absence & after my debt going almost back to where it started.
I also do online surveys & agree they can be so dull but I do get a fair amount of vouchers and cash throughout the year. The cash is paid off the debt & the vouchers are usually put towards things we need for the house.
Sorry to hear about your Christmas money, you must be gutted. I hope something good comes along to replace it.Success is not final, failure is not fatal: it is the courage to continue that counts. Thanks for the kind words I'm resigned to the fact I won't be seeing the money again it just saves me wasting it on rubbish anyway! I am quite concerned that I can't find my gift vouchers and gift cards that I have either. I'm hoping I have put them somewhere safe trying not to panic too much or turn the house upside down looking for them. I'm just going to sit down and relax for a bit before having another look.
I did my hour on my jewellery job tonight still have to send my pictures will do that next. Also did 2.5 hours in the shop tonight so have another 18.5 hours to do this week but I usually only do 7.5 hours so it's an extra 13.5 hours which will bring in some extra cash.
I went to Tesco tonight when I finished work and got two big bags of carrots for 6p each a breakfast selection pack with slice sausage, links, fruit pudding and black pudding for £1.68 and 2 boxes of family circle biscuits for £1.25 each (dated November 2015)
Am now sitting watching NCIS eating pretzels and a chocolate orange not very slimming world friendly but it's XmasDEBT OUTSTANDING 23.04.17 £16802.970 -

:hello: sashybo I'm loving the PAD thread everyone is so friendly and we are all working towards the same goal.
I find the surveys really boring and only ever bother doing them when I'm not working which is hardly ever :rotfl: well it seems like that to me.
I have been there with the debt going back to where it started but am actually starting to get somewhere one which feels great and I'm sure it will start to feel the same for you soon.
Good news went and re checked for my vouchers and managed to find them they had fallen under the box I keep all money related stuff in so they are now securely in the box...don't know what I would have done if I'd lost those too

Well I'm off to work at 2 till 8.30 tonight
so no decluttering or tidying for me well nothing this morning unless clearing a few programmes of the sky plus planner counts for anything!
Yesterday I decluttered my email box down from 1050 emails to 2 :j which made me feel like I've actually accomplished something. I also took 6 books into work for people to take as I've read them and just wanted them gone.
My barclaycard statement has been produced although no email to tell me that but I've checked and paid it so that's £300 to that today. Also paid £317.06 to my Tesco credit card (still got £145.50 to be added onto this but money in bank once it's been added I will pay it)
Made my payment today of £11.22 which has rounded down my bank account but now my credit card balance will be all messed up with pennies at the end of it .... Can't win though one of them has to be uneven!
Starting to think about summer holidays and we usually go to scarborough and stay in a caravan using the newspaper deals but last year we took my mum and dad with us which was good. The caravan wasn't the most practical but only cost us £400 odds for the week for 4 of us.
I've been looking online last night and would love to stay in one of the fancy seafront apartments but they come in at £1600 for a week which is a lot of money. We could save for it and manage to afford it but think am just being silly spending that amount of money. The only thing is that my mum is retiring this year and my dads 60th birthday is in July so would like it to be a treat for them. I have made a few enquiries for holiday rentals ranging from £700 - £800 to see if they have the dates available
Better get some lunch and get ready for work

Hi again BB, yeah the PAD thread is a nice place to hang out and is such a simple but effective idea. :j
I've been a bit rubbish with my surveys lately, just not in the mood. Yeah you're certainly busy on the work front! I work shifts for 7 days in a row & just find it exhausting, doubt I could cope with 3 jobs, hats off to you. :T
Good news on finding your vouchers that must have been a relief. Also some good bargains at Mr T's. I'm trying not to shop online, I don't even need anything I think it's just all the SALE emails getting to me and I worry that I'm missing out on something good.

Thanks sashybo sometimes I wonder how I do it but I just do! Today at work was a killer they have turned off the heating in the shop so it was freezing and 6.5 hours wasn't good
came home to homemade chicken and rice soup and sausage casserole.
Gave my mum some soup away with her as she was freezing too. Felt good being able to share with her.
Got soup and casserole for lunch tomorrow and pork steaks for dinner.
Could have left work early tonight but didn't want to give up that extra half hour!!!
I also have a small sweetie business that I've had for the last 2 years but have yet to make any money from. People I know keep telling me to give it up but I do enjoy it and if I put some more time into it I think I could do better. I was doing ok with Halloween but managed to blow things at Xmasended up buying way too much stock for a few craft fayres that didn't do as well as I had hoped and was left with loads of sweets which are still taking up room in my house. I think I must have around £500 of sweets left if not double that plus all the accessories and stuff. I will be going to go through all my non perishable stock and containers a bit at a time and anything that I won't be using I will try and sell to recoup some money.
The only good thing about it is that anything that I sell from my business is my money so that should motivate me to clear out items I won't use and any sweets I make up is all money in my pocket to help pay off my debts.
Am working from 12-6 tomorrow and then have been invited to friends at night to celebrate the new year but not sure if we will go. It's always a good night but not sure it's worth it the next day! Will see how I feel after work tomorrow.
Off to bed now try and get back to some sort of normality

Hi BB, I think if you enjoy your sweetie business and think you can get it going you should stick with it a bit longer. At least you'll have learnt a lot from the overbuying at Christmas and won't make the same mistake again.
I'm still off work with a bad cold so doubt we will be doing much tonight. Have a good one when it comes. :beer:Success is not final, failure is not fatal: it is the courage to continue that counts.
