Well it's pouring down today :( so no washing going out today. Fell off the diet wagon last night after being good all day. Intention was to make a slimming world curry but when I opened the chicken it was off :( so instead of buying more my husband went to takeaway shop and got food. It tasted amazing but I felt so guilty after eating it.... So much so that he went to the ice cream shop and bought me tablet ice cream :rotfl:

Intention was it would be one bad day but I've already had chocolate for breakfast :o

I was invited to a first holy communion today and a house warming party after it...we have since been told we don't actually need to go to the service now I was looking forward to getting dressed up and feeling like I was part of something (I don't really have many friends outside of work or that many in work to be honest) that I'm now feeling deflated and sorry for myself. Now I know I'm just being silly as there is a full primary class taking communion and when u factor in parents, grandparents aunts and uncles etc there won't actually be much room for friends. Our friend did say it will be nearly a 2 hour service so to go to her house at 2 for the party afterwards (and I'm taking sweets she's ordered for the kids so know I've to go) just need to sort out my head....find it hard to get past the am I really wanted there feelings :( my husband thinks am being silly but it's just the way I am. I'm sure it wills be fine when we get there just need to change my mindset

Sorry for the ramblings but helps me try and figure things out if you know what I mean.

My husband is away running a 10k this morning so I'm going to check the money situation and see if there are any extra pennies to pay to the debt today

Well rounded up and down my accounts and my purse so have paid RBS MC £1.26, barclaycard £1.00 and 57p into my savings tin

Total £2.83 not much but every little helps :rotfl:

Hubby completed his 10k in 50 minutes :T well done him. I've managed a shower and made breakfast now having a cup of tea and catching up on here. Need to get ready for the party and nip to the shop for a birthday card and pressie as it's one of the kids going to the party's birthday today so don't want them to feel left out

Hi BB, I hope you're enjoying yourself at the party.

I don't think it's silly to have the feelings you did, everyone feels like that at times. Well I do anyway! You acknowledged the feeling but didn't let it stop you, so good for you. :)

Thanks sashybo party was good glad I went did leave early though as am working in the morning. I drove so was just drinking soft drinks which caused a lot of speculation about why?!?! None of them would believe me that it's cause I was driving and working 2moro possibly as I was wearing a maxi dress and although I've lost a lot of weight after a few fizzy drinks my stomach was bloated and I do look pregnant but I'm not.

Spent £20.59 today putting money in cards for pressies.

My boss has texted me tonight to say 2 of our team are off sick which I was expecting one is under investigation so is off with work related stress the other is in hospital really not well. Both of them are paid a lot more money than I am and I've been doing their work for last few weeks well tonight my boss texts me to say the head of the service is going to get us more resource but wait for it not from getting anyone else in or giving me any extra money to do their jobs but they are going to get some outside contractors in to cover for them :(I'm so mad right now.... It may sound silly but I recently applied for a promotion within the office for a job that I didn't want but was told to apply for by head of service, management and my boss but although I had an excellent interview they gave it to someone from outside our department who knows nothing about our job but that doesn't matter they know about other stuff....

Our whole office at the moment is totally demotivated and they have already outsourced some of our work so people are worried about their jobs. It's not a good place to be at the moment.

I was feeling quite positive and happy about going into work tomorrow but now have mixed emotions from raging anger to feeling completely worthless and useless as I'm obviously not good enough to keep doing the extra work.

    Why is nothing ever simple?

Thanks but my boss is aware of how I'm feeling the issue is that she is close to retiring so actually doesn't care about anything and just wants out which is the way most of the management are feeling which cascades down to the staff

I work for the local council so am relatively well paid well better than any of the jobs out there that are available which means am stuck in a catch 22

I could actually cry this morning and I have already.

Let's hope today is a quick day x

Well it's been a very stressful and strange few days at work. Not very enjoyable but am getting through them which is something.

Today was payday so the first chance I've had to put my plan into action.

I received an extra £300 in my wages due to overtime so I have paid £150 along with an additional £8.75 (from selling stuff) towards my debts. I paid £93.74 to my RBS account to bring it down to £4600 and I paid £65.01 to my barclaycard.

I checked my snowball calculator and if I can pay £52.99 in addition to the £550 I still have to pay this month I should be able to reduce my debt free date by 2 months :T

I know I have a bit of extra money coming in from my shop wages this week and again next week but not enough to cover the full £53

I have sold something for £1 tonight and still have money owed from something's that sold last week so I'm going to continue to split the money as planned and fingers crossed I can get some more sales to bump up the money to the debt.

Must look and see if there are any more car boot sales coming up see if I can offload some junk there and turn it into cash ;)

I'm finding myself very stressed at the moment so much so I've been eating way more than normal and my shoulder is agony :(. I've a horrible feeling it's all related. One of my friends at work saw how I was feeling on Monday and bought me a bunch of flowers which had me in tears again but it was so nice of them. I'm trying my best to remain positive and try and stop all the negativity that I feel inside coming out. Tomorrow is a new day and will hopefully be a good one.

I have a 50th birthday party to go to this weekend. I still need to buy a present for it and then pay for drinks and stuff but I've got a present account that I put £5 a week in and also a night/days out account I do the same so will see what I can get for a present tomorrow and then decide how drunk I want to get at the party and take out the appropriate amount of cash :D

I'm going to use some of my overtime money to invest in a fringe cut and a blow dry before the party to make myself feel better.

Will try and update again soon

Not much to report today just working away as usual. I'm loving that lunch money lewis song bills it just makes me smile when I hear it and is all about my life :rotfl: cause I work work work every day!!!

It actually cheers me up but it gives you that gentle reminder that your not alone and everyone has bills!

I bought a pair of earrings for the birthday present then tonight in the shop they had some lovely bath items reduced so going to pop them in a gift bag. Got my friend to make a beautiful wooden keepsake card so all in the present and card has cost me £18.75 which is not too bad for a 50th birthday present when we are invited to a party but is probably more than I would normally spend but I resisted the boots sale this year and have exhausted my present stash :o

Another long day ahead tomorrow day at work then night in shop oh and I have a sweetie order to make up for Friday so need to do that tomorrow. It's going to be a long day so off to get some sleep.

Nothing to report on the money front

Hey well it's the weekend :j which is always good especially when I'm off :j:j:j

I was at the 50th birthday party last night which was really good. Gave me an excuse to go to the hairdressers get my hair done and get dressed up. It was the 2nd outing for the dress I bought for the wedding (some people hadn't seen me in it before) it was amazing the amount of people that walked passed me then had to do a double take cause my hair was done and I was wearing a figure hugging dress instead of my regulation black trousers and big cardi.... Got so many compliments last night am surprised my head could fit in the car :o:D loving the way it made me feel which is making me get back on my slimming world diet today.... Slept in for class this morning so jumped out of bed (still a wee bit drunk) and managed to loose 1/2 lb which is what I put on last week.

Work are getting involved in a 10k in September this year so I have signed up for that. My intention is that am going to run it but need to put in some serious training.... Intended to go for a 10k walk today but starting to feel a bit hungover, tho the fresh air may help will see how the weathers holding up before deciding....it's threatening rain but may stay dry for a while.

I got my wages from the shop and my election money also sold a few items on the Facebook selling page so I have managed to pay an extra £50.00 to my RBS MC and £43.23 to my Barclaycard and have reduced my debt free date by one month it's now looking like November 2017 which isn't that long away

I've still got my budgeted payments to make this month totalling the £550 so I will be another month closer to debt free ness very soon :T

Am feeling more positive knowing I have enough money to live on each month and will still reach my debt free date in just over two years without making any major sacrifices makes me realise just how lucky I am.

I also know things can change overnight so as long as I keep up paying off the debt and if I get a bit extra I increase my savings as a back up things are looking good. I still have an excessively hoarded house and although some of the items aren't worth a great deal of value if I could sell even 10% of them for £1 it would help bring down the debt and declutter at the same time.

I am supposed to be decluttering and re arranging things today but the sun is shining at the moment so am going to head out and see if I can get this walk done!

Hope everyone has a great day no matter what you are doing
