Well good news that it has been cancelled, but no I don't think there is any point writing to the post office. It's not their fault that the PPC post boy mislays a bag of letters every day before it actually gets into the hands of the post office, and as well as accidentally losing letters they receive. They need a new post boy!

I've sort of had a reply from the DVLA. It suggests they won't take any action on my complaint if they did not release my data to the PPC. It that correct? I'm in the process of making an appointment to see my MP and I would like to be able to make him fully aware of the barriers motorists face, short of a court case, in seeking some sort of redress and action on the shoddy practices employed by PPCs. Can anyone help?
  • Sorry to chase for replies to my earlier queries - I know you are all very busy - but it would be helpful to have answers to my questions so that I can determine where I want to go next with all of this.

You should show your MP the articles in the Daily Mail all this week. Easy to find online and with named MPs supporting the campaign, should make it easier to explain to the local MP.

The DVLA rarely take any action.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
