My life has changed so much since using your website. I am now debt free and I've won life-changing prizes in the competitions forum.

I always check your website for the best bank accounts, savings, insurance etc! I always come here for advice on parking tickets, bank charges or anything else I don't understand properly and I always gets plain english advice on here!

Frankly, I can say what I like within the MSE posting rules.

I lost £1K thanks to following Martin's Crown Currency Exchange 'BEST BUY' advice just before they went belly up leaving thousands of people like me £20M worse off. Some lost over £100K and had their lives ruined and many say that they were influenced buy from, or introduced to, CCE by Martin's BEST BUY table. But I expect that is something Martin and his team would rather forget about.

Nothing is certain, there are risks to everything, particularly handling your own money, there are unknowns nobody could know.

There was also all the shouting from the rooftops about Icelandic bank ISA rates. Of course the Icelandic banking system crashed and the banks ran off with everyone's money.

But it's swings and roundabouts. I found out about matched betting and arbing because of this forum. 5 1/2 years later, I'm over £23K better off.

I find Martin overbearing and arrogant, but he is what he is, and he's mostly done a lot of good for the person on the street, so he deserves the honour.
