At least you got paid in the end.
I've been waiting 8 days and still no sign of payment or even a reply to the message I sent after 4 days. The 'buyer' has 100% feedback too.
Maybe he has had an accident, who knows.
I do know it's a pain in the !!! for the seller.0 -

I love selling on Ebay and i give buyers 2 or 3 days to pay, most as you say pay straight away some do not pay at all, which does get my back up and feedback that is another story. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. I think late payment (3 days or more) without any contact, says quite a lot about the buyers character. So I always give them a free upgrade to tracked posting to the item if they pay late, just in case

I always pay within 24hrs of auction ending or right after Iv finished buying if its BIN.
I think Iv only had 2 late payers and both turned out to be more hassle than it was worth.0 -

Why, what would you be annoyed at ?
I would not have a problem with ebay automaticaly paying when I won an auction, I might get the item posted same day, instead of me maybe paying when I get home and it posted next day.0 -

Firstly, you then are then not able to use which shipping method you want, yourself. And secondly, it might be local and you can collect.
Where do you draw the line in letting Paypal have access to use your funds as you please....??0 -

True, did not think of that, most of the stuff I buy only has one postal option, so no options needed to be selected :-)0 -
Theres also the problem of buying multiple items from the same seller. there would be no way to combine postage. Why, what would you be annoyed at ?
