    Yup

Now I was just thinking about you me dear. I had a non-meat lunch of cheese and gnocchi

I like both but dear heart remind me I don't especially like warm/cooked cheese. Bleurgh.

Of course I ate it - was some saved chilli smoked cheese from a pressie in the summer.

Nice with crusty bread, not nice when melted.

    :D

Hello world late lunch and time for a quick catch up.

    Strategy today is for
    a NDD and a NSD
to keep my wooly hat on and keep warm, its been on since 6am
Moved to the 'warm room' and put one fire on, well restarted it from last night free wood, one room cosy, two layers on as well for the outdoor/cold room stuff
    .
Research oil companies (heating) for here
    Store cupboard meals
    Walk mutts locally
Do a fridge audit and move some things around
Finalise meal plan and write up
    Pick some tomatoes
Pot up the kale it won't grow if its in a concentration camp.

Do some cleaning - 15 mins (did a fair bit of 'wiping' of surfaces and skirting boards during call :rotfl:

So I'm having 15 mins on tinternet then having some wood chopping action.

    Must collect eggs too.

Hope you're all well. Off to see what you've been upto.

ETA RT I've FB'messaged ya as your pm box here is full. :)

Look at you L - all clever and organised. Mine's is half written. Tonight is tuna + rissoto that's all I know so far. Need a fridge audit and reshuffle to hone it down.

    How's the younglings.

And, as you said before about an end of year review. Man, lots has changed.

Although I find myself sitting typing this wearing a wooly hat indoors so I guess maybe not so much changes.

Ok so I got sucked into two hours of log chopping :)

IN most exciting news a man came to the house and gave me a £25 nile (other rivers are available ;)) voucher for filling in a village survey.

    Huzzah.

I shall also be trying this month to focus on what I can do, ie grow stuff and provide fuel etc for the house, rather than what I can't do ie make money grow on trees.

A month to focus on the positives me thinks. And about time too. My empty nest mourning period whilst not over, is needing a positive focus.
