Tiptoes in and puts on the kettle for a cuppa...

...wow - and exciting & throught provoking day on Pip's homestead yesterday & I missed all the fun! OH is having a chuckle as I've told him that added to tomorrow's list is a trip to the hardware store - IWOOT flower pot heaters!

My yesterday was back at work, herding cats as they say, more like running a kindergarten of three year olds IMO - long old day left at 7:30 and didn't get back until the same time in the evening.

Lovely OH, man of many talents had put on his chef's hat and made root veg & venison stew - YUM - house was also nice and toasty as the oven had been on low and slow for a few hours! (and didn't find any shot which is always a bonus with game!)

Today is downright dreach - not able to put any laundry on the line so it's on to operation defrost the freezer - well overdue, but will be worth it to gain back the drawer we can't get into!

Off to do a meal-plan & and order some online groceries - pay day was this week so we can stock up!
    4 YEARS 10 MONTHS DEBT FREE!!! (24 OCT 2016)
(With heartfelt thanks to those who have gone before us & their indubitable generosity.)
    ...and now I have a mortgage! (23 AUG 2021)
New projection - 14 YEARS 10 MONTHS LEFT OF 20 YEARS (reduced by 15 mths)
Psst...I may have started a diary!
  • Tops up biscuits. Puts kettle on.

    :)

YUM RT - how did the rain pan out like us did it vamoose?

Hope the meal plan and the shopping plan went well.

In breaking news me and TRG are about to meal plan for this week later on.

    Like, erm, a team.

    Blimey eh

    Waves hello

Another NDD yesterday and a NSD and a £2 egg day.

    Must tot those up.

    :D

Today was a driving day. Took a wee airer to surrogate niece combined with a tiny bit shopping (milk £1 and milkshake mix £1.59 and yogs £1)

£3.59 to add to the groceries.

Nice walk with the mutts, washing is air drying on the 'vintage' airer which I think might have been my grannies.

TRG treated me to a post for my gate and a bit to put the new washing airer up into the ground. He knows how to treat a gal.

    :D

Plan for the rest of the day is to do a bit of garden planning and some log chopping and find bugs for the chickens.

    :D

    Banks etc. to do.
