It does work! I've registered my work email address :D

£62-worth of shopping (HAH! It really is more expensive, and don't get me started on "sorry we can't brand match online" as I know full well my catfood is cheaper by £2 elsewhere. It does pad the order nicely, mind!) for £42 :money: Thanks Pippi!

That's us stocked for a full month for cat food and have another good stack of meat for the freezer - and a cheeky bottle of Bucks Fizz that might even make it to Christmas ;)

Mines come today with another code for a £20/off £60 off a first shop - which won't work for me but might for others? Use as you wish dear hearts.

    Voucher code CATNNVHA

  • So today started a bit slowly. I do admit after seeing off himself and sorting out the chooks and the mutts (pre 7am) I snuck back to bed for a good two hours.

Walk last night (not my petrol :)) and some reduced delights

9p pork pies (x3 for chooks)
    9p bread x 3
    25p x bagettes (5)
    1.35 for 350g steak mince x 3
    50p for pork steaks.

£5.34 to add to my £42

:D all nicely in the freezer now except one pack of pies which the chooks scoffed.

    Chook curry for tea.

    Plan for the day

Banks, cc's etc squeaky but done, wages showing but not cleared for a few days. Paid £50 to DS laptop off CC, reduce the interest.
    Post receipts
Go visit a £40 washing machine locally see if its worth buying :D
Post a parcel to a chum - didn't get as far as PO today will likely do that when out and about tomorrow doing
    Phone up SAAS (again)
    Walk el muttlets
    Finish report (paid work)
Organise tea - check what I'm not sticking to on meal plan
    Find a cheap airer
Tidy one room (did the kitchen first thing)
See about extracting the tumble drier and giving it a dust and pop a photo on local facebay/board in town (£60 about right (??) - its quite new and an INDESET - we don't use them so no point in keeping it.
Job hunting again I think wrote two letters and printed CVs for a couple local businesses - we'll see.
Contact local BG again about volunteering email sent
Home meals and maybe some gardening later.
Small petrol drive day today (8 miles) must get petrol soon, might check price in local town. got petrol cos it was just TOO low.

    That should do eh?

  • Got an email to say all is grand with getting expenses back :) that's good then.

    Still working on pesky report.

Got some volunteering set up for tomorrow at local BG.

Must put away a monster tonne of shopping, keep getting distracted by reports and alike.

    :D

Surely its time for a cuppa

Will do half hour more work then call it a day - got to get sorted to pick up machine.

    :)

Sunshine today another washing machine head evening so slept really badly - up at 6am back for a snooze til 9.

There are some ups for working from home now settled with pc having fed chooks and working on my spreadsheet.

For the record the 50p coffee is OK, in a crisis and definitely not black.

It will do, as me granny use to say.

    Today's list

Take self to stove shop to get door in wee stove checked out
    Volunteering at BG
Paid work - reports half way through
Walk les mutts somewhere not sure if local or not as I'm OOT in my car today its a driving day :D
Writing class later in local town (more driving)
Snacky tea as TRG on bikes and I'm out so that's destroyed our plans eh? My meal plan gets shonkier by the day

    Banks/Cards
Post a parcel to a chum, didn't get there yesterday due to shuddery car
Reorganise store freezer and 'house' freezer into sections for meat/fish/bread think that will let the 'in the kitchen one' be used for smaller bits and I'll be able to see in it
Any bits I didn't finish yesterday like ring SAAS again.
    Clean one room
Investigate more on heating rooms with candles
Phone/investigate oil companies cos as much as the heating is still firmly off, its only a matter of time before we need it on for a bit
I'm going to have a peek at the fruit/veg situation as I'll be chuggling past Mr A and Mr M later and I think aside apples we're getting low on fruit.
Greenhouse staging, I need some, no clue where to start so need investigate that or alternatives like shelving-not-especially-for-greenhouses.

CHOP UP APPLES. COME ON YOU CAN DO IT.
