RIP poor old cucumber, so sad when that happens, and I bet it's not often in your house :rotfl: Yay for bargains though :j Just done a bit of yellow stickering myself although not on your scale
Some basil and coriander for 44p, yesterday got a couple of bags of rocket for 25p each and some tubs of chopped onions reduced to 10p :j
Sounding fabby Mrs Cheery!
The poor cucumber was so bad I couldn't even give it to the hens. Never mind attempt to make some kind of dodgy soup with it.
I've moved the 'fruit and veg' basket up higher in the fridge I hope that sorts my food neglect. I hate throwing stuff away and please dont' tell work I'll get sacked.

Meal plan
Sat - reduced duck and yummy it was
Sun - something light just had a cooked brunch
Mon - salmon and leek something or other and roast tatties and sparrow grass (Wiks dad coming to stay) all reduced.
Tues - spag bog (HM in freezer) with 20p pasta
Wed - out for tea me, himself there's a King Prawn made up meal in the freezer or more spag bog.
Thurs - Fish of some description - hake probably with tatties/veggies
Fri - possibly soupy tea or a takeaway if we've a mind.
Working garden - Mon Tues - hosp Wed might do a half day, Thurs to make up for Wed.
Working home - Wednesday am early til leave for hosp and Friday all day.
Sounds like a plan.
Must sort out some lunches too. I have a pot of carrot soup made up so far. Lots of rolls in the freezer. Might make up some breakfast rolls with leftover bits from brekkie today. Can't see a random sausage lying around now can we.
Frozen seafood stock.

If anyone is invloved in a charity which supports people by helping with food.
They should check out this - heard about it a few times now at local networking meetings.
Some of the larger supermarkets are signing up to offer a 'food cloud' resource to folks.

Might mean this reduces the amount of food going to landfill significantly.
Might also mean whoopsies become a bit less common but if its feeding those in need rather than going in the bin, I'll happily alter my shopping habits.
