Well now that IS exciting! :j :j :j

Was reading through some cheery old posts on your blog this morning :j Most jolly :D SO much need some chickens - aarrgghh! Will be coming to you for chicken-related tips as soon as we move (if we ever bloody move, that is...) :rotfl: :rotfl:
  • Exactly cheery I was just thinking the other day (as my hours will be reducing very soon) that I might actually *actually* find time to do some writing.

Chicken related anything is always good - the lasses are up to two eggs a day again (only 3 darlings left) so I gave them extra rations yesterday.

WHOLE day yesterday from 7.30am til 6pm in the garden. WHOLE DAY can't remember the last time that happened.

Fingers crossed you can move soon - OH went past the old flat yesterday on way home to check lights were on etc and the new person is in. They can't change their mind now! Although I know in scotland its legal once the offers accepted but until they're in with their little knotted hanky - you know its not real.

So today - lazy start after a gorgeous dinner out last night. Anniversary of TRG and I meeting. 13 years wowser. Got to go out for a posh dinner.

    :D lovely it was too.

So now its back to reality and meal planning its about 3 weeks til we head off on the last hols of the year and so we need to eat out the cupboards/freezer.

Kettle on, a working at home day for chores and also wombles.

    Must write invoice too.

I feel a wee list coming on.

    :)

    Banks
    Invoices
    Update work accounts
    Fathom next weeks working week
Hosp again on Wed see about pesky knee
    Washing
    Indoor mowing (hoovering)
List for groceries - but prob not much.
Check out if can use the vouchers for Ffoods - they've lots of 'store stuff'
Fly lady - already done 15 mins in kitchen.

Other cc made an extra payment so its now reducing nicely.

Transferred £100 into kids uni account.

  • Checked here for new free sole trader accounting spreadsheet as last years one was so easy. But only last years one up the now. I'm sure they'll have a new one soon.

If anyone has any other suggestions happy to hear it.

I've just had a statement for the pension I knew nothing about still mulling what to do with it.

Freezer and cupboards next I reckon. (for a meal plan not for a pension.)

Had a look at tatties no chitting yet, lazy beggars. Spinach has started growing again and I found a few random carrots when planting tulips yesterday and three shallots.

All the caned fruit is starting to bud up. Have a couple of £1 reduced bushes to plant too.

Rubs fingers at idea of a good season.

Pretty sure I have some T&M vouchers I didn't use last year via email must check. I'll get tomato plants after we come back from hols.
