Morning Pippi :hello: Try to keep warm! :D

Grey and VERY soggy here. Glad you've got a bit of sunshine even if it's chilly. Not sure which I'd prefer, at least it's not too cold here! :rotfl: Not even put the heating on yet this morning :D (although I've only been up half an hour and only just got out of the shower :rotfl: ) :D
  • Morning all! RT do you think you got someone else's lunch by mistake?! :rotfl:

Hurrah for sun, radio and keeping warm - and a cautious eyebrow raised to the "XX" trays of snowdrops. Good luck with that!

    MMMMMMMMMM cheese!

Does sound like an odd combo RT :) I've gone from cupasoup to a miso (found a jar of the paste in the cupboards) :) Enjoy your cheese - please do let us know what type it is.

Well the cheese was cheddar but I forgot to eat it! - There was a lovely bag of wasabi flavoured popcorn calling my name instead! Popcorn is my all time favourite meal!:o
Morning all! RT do you think you got someone else's lunch by mistake?! :rotfl:...

EH - :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: - it was definately my meal as I ordered it and watched him make it - In my head greek food has certain flavours (i.e. garlic & lemon & olive oil) & souvlaki should be cubes of meat - so I'm pretty sure this did not count as that, it was more of a japanese inspired pitta wrap?!?

  • Well done guys.

And hey up. I'm in the post kids departure funk. But I'm sure I'll get out of it soon.

:) Saw dd on the evening before she left which was nice. Even escaped Fife.

With the pesky bridge down, we took the train. At 17.10 for an hours journey I can't say it was exactly value for money but needs must eh.

  • Meal planning before a top up shoppy.

    So found in the freezer

    Half a cooked roast chicken
Packet of chilli beef burgers (49p)
    Haggis (not the dog) 29p
    Fish steaks
    Assorted fish
2 packs cooked chicken breasts reduced
    scallops x 2 reduced
cheese - hallomi cheddar and brie
    lamb shanks
    ribs
    noodles
    a gazzilion chopped up courgettes
    whole uncooked reduced chicken

So that should make for enough tea ingredients right?

Tonight is leftover curried chicken thighs. Rice cooked too. Will make some flatbreads :) and maybe some popadums and relish. A mini feast.

Sunday - roast chicken with trimmings
Monday - just me, hes working late - Haggis (not the dog)
Tuesday - just me (he's at his mums)
Wednesday - beefburger meat balls with courgette and tomato
Thursday - Me, wik, kids and himself - chicken fried rice or something like that (minus the chicken for the veggie)
Friday - another roast dinner, another fakemas :D
Saturday I'm oot, Im' sure there will be plenty leftovers.

Need some veg, some brekkie bars, cordial and some bread as most of the posh stuff seems to have been inhaled.

 at the thought of you eating Doggy Haggis! :rotfl: He's a bit scrawny - I'm sure the other one would provide a more satisfying feast if it came to it...

  • Exactly cheery!! :) Hope you're good :)

Town raid for reduced bits was very fruitful. lots of lovely smoked bacon, sausages, fish and other bits reduced. YUM YUM
