  • The finishing a bit earlier sounds like a plan if it improves quality of life.

Glad to hear fakemas went well and DD is being smiley, that IS good!

    Chips? Who said that? ;)

Autumn Decorations? What the....? I'll probably do yesterday's front room bits tonight when we get in I think...there will be a 30 minute period when dinner is in the oven, having been made, so we can use that for cleaningy-tidyingy stuff. MrEH WILL be thrilled...

    YEAH to Fakemas!:j:j:j

We might have ours at the end of Jan this year & roll it into OH's BIG (shhh) birthday!

...Monday's living room... we did reverse flylady & it's...um...shall we say looking very lived in!

...Tuesday's decorations... moved the (uncarved) Halloween pumpkin from the window sill to the storecupboard with the potatos and onions - that's all we had for decs unless you include all the leaves that seem to get treked into the kitchen everyday! (they got swept up) - guess I'll do the mat on Friday during my weekly blitz!

Have to look at the banks & shuffle funds to various pots - payday on a Monday is very annoying - means I have no clue what's going on for the first week of the month!

:rotfl: :rotfl: at reverse Flylady :D I've been an expert at that for years :D

    :j :j to Fakemas :D
  • Yeah good luck with your fakemas too RT :)

And cheery I'm good at reversing it too.

    Flylady today is easy.

We are in the home stretch of Zone 1 and today seems like a good day to pamper ourselves by taking a 15 minute break and enjoying a cup of tea or a tall glass of something cold. Read your favorite magazine, bible, or book and just take a time out just for you. Like I always say, if you don't take the time to take of you, who will?

I'm workign today and a big report to get in tomorrow.

The only thing I have to say to myself though is

    INVOICE (S)

IF you don't write them PIPPI they don't pay you.

Get it done tonight when you get back.

  • I know that fly lady is SO LAZY.

    Today is family day.

So today I'm working from home on a report but the weather is utter rubbish so actually I'm glad I'm at home and being paid!

Filled the wood up yesterday between the showers. So kitchen is toasty.

I've an array of freezer stuff out on the table as fakemas spends were heavy but the freezer is still groaning so hoping to undo the damage by eating out of the freezer most of the week.

    We have

lamb slow roast leftovers - sunday with yorkies I think
Fish and leftover seafood - tea tonight
Monday - himself is away pre exam and I'm out for tea
Tuesday mince and tatties I think Still onions and tatties in the garden and carrots so that should work
Wednesday venison casserole (reduced and now thawing)
Thursday more fish - grab a bag out of the freezer think we have hake, halibut and cod in there
Friday - usually a treaty tea but we'll see as he has more assignments for his MSc due.

So we've got a pile of food there haven't we.

Checked freezer there are 4 lunches in there too.

Fridge has chicken carcass stock to sort out and a wee tidy in order.

We have fruit/veg and we have two eggs and enough milk for the week.

Need shampoo and hair slobber. Aside that only reduced stuff should need to hit my paws.

All good so far. Must have a cuppa though.....

Hope you're all safe and staying dry.
