  • I looked inside mine, no wee elf. I guess mines isn't self cleaning either but a dish of water and half a lemon for an hour or so might help.

    Wipe out after.

hmmm - oven? - I've forgotten what that is - ours is still brand spanking new & not been used! - maybe we'll find a reduced turkey or duck & christen it at Cmas?

I've been using the bbq :o:D:o even bought a solar powered garden light as it's sooooooo dark these days in the evening! (KC will have gadget envy)

So moral of the story is that I should give the bbq a good clean out - no cinder fairy at mine either!

New projection - 14 YEARS 8 MONTHS LEFT OF 20 YEARS (reduced by 16 mths)

Yeah starnac some thing about the citrus and the steam seems to help. You swipe it out when its cool enough to touch safely.

Another trick is to slather it in washing powder with water and leave for an hour or so and wipe out.

I like the warm oven trick also make smell quite lemony.

Not good of course if said friend comes in and expects lemon cake - they get very disappointed.

I'm clearing veg beds (found 3 more courgettes ) and filling up the wood and moving some pallets.

In between load up apples into crates.

I've never seen so many apples.:p

10467 steps and counting. I'm averaging around 20000 at work and struggle ot get near it when I'm not at the coal face.

10000 is the "recommended" amount so you're not doing too shabby lady!!! Don't over do it.

As for apples. We had 2 on our tree :rotfl: our first year for fruit though so I'll take that!

  • two apples is ace starnac!

Steps - walking is my only exercise so I want to get them over 10k and I do take your point. DH says its why my legs are so short.

Oven on with a tray of water and lime juice (improvising) :)

Dark now chopped one pallet and stacked the other three up the back of the garden.

Fire on and washing a drying.

Today is my flylady 'home blessing day' where you do 15 mins in each room - although looking at the ktichen I think it might take me 15 mins to just find the table under all the 'stuff'.

Garden sofa is in and trying to make room for it in the kitchen as ds stole my other kitchen sofa.

    a wee cuppa first though.

  • Ok I'm ignoring the fact I have three ovens.

One I don't use and the other I can't see.
