Good for you RT on using things up we're not too bad at the moment but I must go through the dreaded cupboard under the bathroom sink.......well reminded.
:rotfl::rotfl: For a long time the only thread that I contributed to was the "buy no more toiletries in (current month)" thread.
Excess zeal in taking advantage of special offers and very generous gifts received at birthdays and christmas meant that I probably could have opened my very own beauty store:o My sig is an attempt to reduce the stashes and curb my buying. Since moving to this house with much bigger garden I need a no more buying plants thread instead:D:D
Sweep kitchen floor as my grannie would say - looks like it you could make soup from it.

Hey Maddie thanks for explaining!
And the soup-floor comment I use every single day. I've no idea if its an old expression. She had some corkers.
Have a great one.
Done a bit of womble work on the book, I'm off to sort out the day's physical work now.
Must find a decent pedometer as the phone gets flat too quickly. I reckon I'm doing 6-7 miles a day at work.
Any suggestions welcomed! (Starnac.......?)Total debt 26/4/18 <£1925 we were getting there.

Me??? To be honest I've only ever used cheap ones (approx £5) and they've worked fine for me. At the moment I'm using a more expensive one as I got it for freeIt's not the best as it doesn't show me how many steps I've done. I've got to sync it to my phone to see my steps which is pretty annoying.
I love a pedometer as it's amazing how far you can walk evry day without knowing. In uni I worked in a night club and used to walk 3-4miles just up and down the bar!

Pfft.
I'm grumpy as i'm covered in harvest mite bites, happens every year, but its annoying. feel like I've got chicken pox. Taken anti-whotsit meds and slaithered in anti-itchy cream, not nice.
Boo to me.
6 hours work done, showered, slaithered and looking at the sun/black clouds wondering what might happen.

Soup is an easy tea propped up with veg from the garden, and dumplings from the freezer.
Chinese hot and sour with the above. Mine is a cheats soup as I've not got most of the ingredients but it will be fine with a bit of haberdashery-ing.
Using left over chicken as the meat
Dumplings as the tofu
Shallot stalks as the spring onions/chives
Cabbage stalks and mangetout as the bamboo shoots - perfect crunch
Chucked in half a bit of a left over salsa tub for colour and spice.
Sounds well dodgy but will work out well and tastes grand.
And I have the vinegar and the white pepper which are the main ingredients anyway so we'll be fine. Honest.Total debt 26/4/18 <£1925 we were getting there.

Haha - this sounds like my soup adventures - sometimes OH gets upitty about leftovers - I chuck them in a soup - he downs it & says it was delicious!Pippilongstocking wrote: »...A wee list me thinks...

Love a good list Pips - wee or otherwise! (what's scots for otherwise?):D Sounds like you are doing well organising yourself, work bits and home bits - happy to hear you being your chipper self!:)
Plans for this weekend involve a haircut - well overdue - need to look a bit sharper now that I'm working in the big smoke everyday - OH says not to worry as he's seen my workmates & thinks I'm holding my own:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: - He doesn't realize that the mates are 'downstairs' and I have the pleasure of hanging about 'upstairs' for much of my day so have to put some extra effort into looking pulled together!
Also a trip to the chiropractor to have lower spine adjusted - did it in really well falling down the stairs at the 'house by the sea' - also broken toe healing but still ouchy - podiatrist says at least another 6 weeks in flats - sigh - so much for looking sharp at work :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: - flats is sooooooooo easy in my own time - it's usually birks style sandals, hiking boots or bare feet!:D
On the subject of work - Am meant to be working from home today so best crack on - load of laundry, clean kitchen and leisurely breakfast doesn't count as paid work now does it?:p4 YEARS 10 MONTHS DEBT FREE!!! (24 OCT 2016)(With heartfelt thanks to those who have gone before us & their indubitable generosity.)...and now I have a mortgage! (23 AUG 2021)New projection - 14 YEARS 8 MONTHS LEFT OF 20 YEARS (reduced by 16 mths)Psst...I may have started a diary!0
