  • Mr RT is very funny. Main issue is passport is not more than 180 days before it expires so I've done that online, if its back in time then great if not, well I guess its not meant to be.

    Deep sigh.

I've started watching the fly-lady stuff. Managed to tidy the kitchen and whilst my sink isn't shiny the table is cleared.

    Morning all.

    Today
    Send presentation in
    Check banks/ccs
    Home meals
    Pick some veg
    do some logs/wood stuff
    Work six hours
    Walk les mutts
Get clothes organised for Wed (early out)

Banks/etc first - a quick load in the machine.

Cold here today Starnac I think we stole your weather.

    Mornin' Pips
Rather envious of your list - best way to start a day off!
On my way to the big smoke after four days of no commute - not so bad after having a break from it...
Shopping from the stores this weekend involved clearing out the dregs of another tube of cream and transferring bath soap into a shower gel squessy tube...
Mr me helped by decluttering the ends of some cheese - I hid the new block so he thinks we have run out - crafty eh?

    It's raining here :(

Good list Pippi. I do like a good stripey list first thing :) I've already been :money: this morning by comparing utility quotes. Seems we could save £22 a month! Nice one!

:D Crafty indeed. Now tell me was this bar soap into gel container or squishy soap. I'm well impressed either way!!

Hope your commute is OK, I'm commuting tomorrow - bleurgh. My normal commute is 8 miles of wiggley-biggly roads and a few horses.

    Well done starnac. :T

I've done the dishwasher and should be able to hang up a load before I go, washing, not cups. :rotfl:

Banks very normal. Not great, not over. All good.

I have this wonderful image of stripey, spotty and flowery cups and mugs hanging from washing line in your lovely garden (super pic the other day btw):D:D:D:D:D

Fingers crossed that the passport arrives back in record time, a visit to the land of big mountains sounds amazing.

List needed here too, few items outstanding from last one, and just to make things difficult it is raining (but only a little) 2 sunny and blowy days enabled the drying of lots of washing, so machine gets a rest today.

  • Dry all day Maddiemay when I was at work, now its persisting down greatly.

    Isn't that just typical?

    Hope you're good.

  • Tea was yummy fish steaks and chips :)

Done breakfast for me and lunch for tomorrow for DH
Made a bit extra rice and we'll have that with leftover curry tomorrow
Hens fed and food ready for the morning
Brought home a carrier bag of cones from my walk at lunchtime so they're now drying in the kitchen for starting fires

About to hop in the bath.

Bar soap indeed! - I'm not that creative Pips my dear!:D You must have me confused with our dear Cheery! In theory it was bubble bath I think, but thick gloopy stuff, so does well in the place of shower gel - just need to use less than with 'real' gel or there are too may bubbles to rinse out of tub!

Just saw Maddiemay's siggy & I think that's the idea I'm striving for - there are way too many end bits of toiletries in this house that need to be put to use - and lesson learned that cheap gift sets are not really better value if all the extra components languish away not being used!:D

Fingers crossed for the passport! DVLA turned a replacement driving licence around in four days for my brother last week (on their standard service!), so government services can be efficient when they try :)
  • Love Maddiemay's signature but can't fathom what it means!! :) Good for you RT on using things up we're not too bad at the moment but I must go through the dreaded cupboard under the bathroom sink.......well reminded.

Caz fingers crossed. :) hope you're good.

    Morning lands

Today a 6 hour garden day, yesterday was 4 hours commuting and 7 hour meeting - long day. Scoffed tea when home thank goodness I'd prepared it.

Put the left over rice in a takeaway tub and its now nestling in the freezer for another quick tea, two portions to a takeaway box so that's quite easy to fathom.

Need to use up some eggs so it might be omlettes later.

Before work need to do a few chores.

    Banks
    Dishwasher
Fold up washing and put a load on
Hens fed, need checking for eggs and given some greens
    Make lunch
    Swipe around a bathroom
make dr appointment for some bloods - yeuch.
FB a chum to make a catch up plan
Sweep kitchen floor as my grannie would say - looks like it you could make soup from it.
    Fill up stick baskets
    Pick some veg

    Enough for now I think.

    Have a good un.
