Hello how's the weekend going? Bet you can hardly bear the excitement of floor varnishing! I will be mostly sorting clutter in sheds. All good here so far. Jealous of the oregano though; our clump (or the place where it used to be) has been adopted by Pup as his favourite toileting spot. I think I might have to plant some more somewhere else.

That would certainly add a bit of "extra" flavour *ahem* :rotfl:

Enjoy your varnishing Pippi hope it's not too sticky or smelly for you. (Not a fan of varnishing myself!!)

  • Thank you very much for the advice :D This will be the year I have my herb garden.

I have a table and chairs set out there, can't wait to sit in summertime and have the lovely smells...

I'd move it too - poor pup or cut it back, and put some twigs over it to make the spot a little less intviting.

    :)

Floor still isn't right but it wasn't bad......

You're welcome and herbs are easy if you neglect them and stuff.

They're a fan of abject neglect.

What to tell you about me today.

Well this week I've worked 4 days in the garden and about to do one for wombles so that's 5.

DS has gone home and we managed to snag a meal with DD before he left.

Seen a couple of solicitors for the flat, some good, some not so good, seeing a couple more. We need a quick sale.

The mortgage here is reducing which is nice but it would be nice to reduce further.

Car to get recycled to the scrappie over next few days - DH old car, he's shopped about and got a fair price he thinks. We just need to get it there soon.

Cupboards are still pretty full, we've eaten out a couple times with kids so the meal plan went a bit pear shaped.

Working is good, I'm even remembering my packed lunch. I'm doing 4 days again next week as someone's on holiday, then have some pals to help dig up a garden and also some pals coming to visit (you now who you are).

    A busy week ahead.

Lots of life admin to get on with too.

Must get my finger out eh.

Girls provided 2 eggs this morning so far so I've started selling them again to help pay for food. Must text friend to see if she wants any.

Also sent some over to DD.

Met her flatmates for next year they seem lovely.

DH is home and plotting skiing this week, I'm busy so he's going alone I think.

    All good

    £20 petrol last night
    £24 for DD for shopping

    Thus starts another month.

    But hey, its sunny.

I'm good KC - with this new work I have 3-4 days when I have no internet and by the time I fall in the door, my finger doesn't work to switch anything on. Snowdrops are XHAUSTING! But I guess its good to focus my mind on the days i'm working.

I hope your trains behave. I had a lovely free ticket grab cos an MSE'r told me about the free giveaway with the take over of Scotrail up here.

So I snagged a ticket for May, to go and see a chum.

I did look for DS but his route wasn't one up for grabs.

Sunny here I hope you're good.
