  • Morning lands

Done a fridge audit and we need fruit/some veg and a few bits from shop - I've gone and done a list.

    :D

Nice day here hens fed and mutts been out - I'm working extra today.

Needless to say I didn't get all of yesterdays list done but I did finish my bricks.

    :)

  • Today a bit of work a virtual cuppa with a chum and some pottering. Its like my sunday. :)

The suns out and I'm excited. There's a mixture of stuff to do might as well make a list

Put away washing (might be a case of CBA) half done.
Get a bit of tidying done (see above) - half done
    Check banks
    Skype kids

Pay something to cards put w/m on my card and MR Me has transferred the cash
    Dog walk on beach
Collect some free wood check local shop for spare pallets - NOWT
Meals from cupboards, need to look and see what we have for the coming week
    Phone Dr's
Freeze any extra grub in fridge which might start a revolution
PLANT SOME SEEDS - some in greenhouse, some on windowsill as its still parky out there
    Finish brick edging on lawn
    Plant more things in pots
Fed hens, check for eggs later
Start to sort out boxes for planting.
Think about putting the patio furniture out - yes I'm that hopeful :)
If I get really bored, hoover.
Might need to write a list, we do need pet fud.

First off banks and another cup of jasmine tea I think, found some in the chinese supermarket at 69p a packet, all good.

Stll stuff to work on on there.

Morning peeps! Anyone watching the eclipse? It's cloudy here but you can watch it live on the Guardian site (no doubt others are available).

Eldest DD is off school as she had to come home sick on Weds and school policy requires 48 hours off. OH and Little DD have both had a terrible cold/cough and yesterday I think I caught both, I started off feeling stuffy and achey all over, but not too bad, but later developed horrible nausea. Thankfully that is better today but now back to just having a cold.

Hoping to start getting a few seeds in today! Hope you are all avoiding the lurgy!

I was wondering if you tried, Pippi, especially since its a nice day. I tried - but there's smog down here, over from Europe, not a chance!

The sun came out here just at the right time and we watched it from the garden. Made a pinhole camera from a big box and it worked really well although we looked pretty funny with a box on our heads!
  • Morning all - where did the weekend go?

Well the eclipse - yes they had it all set up at work with a back-to-front pair of binoculars on a board and some white paper chart. sounds fangled but it worked. There were also home made box cameras made up and the owners of Snowdrop Castle were running round making sure we all got to see - very civilised. :)

Trog I hope you're good? Poor you I'm sorry you've got some lurgy, I seem to have sleeping sickness, I'm sooooooooooooooooo tired and achy but it might just be that I'm not use to working!

    Hugs for the tiddlers.

KC sorry you guys had rubbish viewing weather, twas a bit cloudy here but it cleared just in time, then I dug roots and propagated by eclipse light.

Cheery hows the house hunting going :)

Working today and was yesterday - weekends are all wonky.

Stupidly went shopping after a day at the flat doing DIY and spent £52!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! But, on the plus side we wont need anything but fruit all month and theres a few nice bits in.

NOTE TO SELF - dont' go when hungry or take Mr Me with me, he's a bad influence.

DS might come home this week. :)

Worked an extra 3 hours this week so that pushed me up to 4.5 days and this week I've been asked to work extra again.

All good. Got some work done in my own garden, but not as much as I'd like, but then again, I got paid for gardening elsewhere.

Veg garden still needs attention as its half done - must get that sorted.

Remiss on seeds again, nothing planted - bad pippi.

Must get on with a few bits before the woosh off to work.

    :)

    I hope you're all good. :)

Hi Pippi! Its persisting down here too - very gently, actually. And it had been dry for a bit too long, the soil around the little garlic shoots was drying out a bit, so I'm glad of the rain :)
