But thanks lovely. How life up north.
I don't I'm afraid - and wow, that's expensive, we're £30 for a tonne bag chopped up here, if I remember correctly!
Life up north is slowly drying outGot my veggie seeds ordered at the weekend
Hope the lurgy departs soon xx0 -
Now, here's a "seeds" question. Realseeds are only open for about an hour a week, although they're open Right Now. So, where else can I buy seeds that aren't F1? Anyone have a fave supplier?2023: the year I get to buy a car0

We use
https://www.kingsseeds.com
for the community allotment KC - they do non-F1 stuff (clearly stated at the top of each product description)
Or were you after somewhere that didn't do F1 seeds at all?
Have you joined the heritage seed library? http://www.gardenorganic.org.uk/hsl
Not quite what you were looking for but very cheerful!
I'm sure Pippi will have some more useful suggestions rofl0 -
Thanks Cheery! After I'd finished scribbling on various threads on here, Realseeds were still open, so I put an order in
but the one you linked to looks really nice
I've just done an order for 3 sets - broad beans, kale, courgettes and calendula, all practical stuffI've got lots of non F1 seeds (like, a couple of dozen!!!) hopefully my garden will supply me with lots of nosh this year, and some pretties too

Well you lot all look like you're sorted.
I'm still full of lurgy so sorry if I'm quiet the now.
Just in from work (snowdrops can't catch lurgy)
And, my exciting news is that they (the garden folks) like me enough to keep me proper and I've got 3 days a week from now on propagating, plants sales and maybe even some teaching when the season warms up a bit.
They said I fitted in grand and liked my cheery nature.
I'm well chuffed.Total debt 26/4/18 <£1925 we were getting there.
