Thank you My Darlingist et al...
Yesterday was hard... But also in a way the start of new things... The Head Gardener is no doubt up there being very cross at the amount of feeling sorry for ourselves that has been going on!
Dad and I have plans to do the hanging baskets for first time for 4 years! also going to have a bit of blitz on the bedding bits n bobs, and i found seeds 3 for £4 in Axdx yesterday - unwins seeds at that!
Also after the most amazing skiing hols (first time i skied in 21 years!! and i didnt get broke) with Pippi and TRG, i am planning next time - we wont talk about the snow olympics :rotfl:

This all sounds great
Pippi, edible perennials are the way to go for me - that and foraging for wild perennials. I have ambitions to make my own salsa verde from nettles, lemon balm, good king henry, chives, anything I can get my mitts on really.2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
Sounds yummy KC
Hey up all. Bit of a different day DH has car troubles so I switched my chores around and did them early and took him to work. Then my group session then home after a bit of B&M action for pet/bird food.
Spent £16.58, mostly pet food, bird food and hen food, but a few things like rice cakes for home (29p) and soy sauce 69p
Chopped some logs
Collected some free wood
Filled the log baskets
Bought a reduced blackberry (minus its label, but its a blackberry) for £2 and an oregano for £1
Mr T vouchers £10.50 landed in post, mainly himself cc spends points so I'm off to investigate their deals.
See what else I can snaffle for the garden.
Neighbour gave me some wee wild primroses from their garden. Popped them in a redundant window box to bring them on. Spotted some foxgloves in TRG's old flat garden so will snaffle some of them too. One of the beds in the garden is to be a 'wild' garden.
Cold, kettles on and stove in kitchen is now on. Mainly free wood collected, so all good.
Have to collect himself in a bit after going and getting washing, yes we still don't have a machine here.
Keeps life interesting.
I hope you're all good.Total debt 26/4/18 <£1925 we were getting there.

Patio raspberry

Don't be impressed mostly we're kinda mucky.
The machine is at the old flat so I 'commute' to do my washing in a combined trip.
Its interesting. I tell you handwashing some bits isn't as hard as you'd think.
Hope you're recovered me dear. Posted you a wee card today.

Busily looking at greenhouse staging here, part of me thinks surely I can repurpose something rather than buy new. Other part of me thinks, maximise greenhouse space might require proper staging.
Its a pondering kinda day so far.
I hate buying new.Total debt 26/4/18 <£1925 we were getting there.
