Hey up me ducks.
Waves to all - let me get this out of my head first.
Planted
Shallot red sun
Single snow drops (stolen, erm I mean borrowed from my mothers garden) and a pot of doubles
Planted grape hyacinth (blue) around Eunoymous moved from veg garden
Moved three barrows bark
Got given Quince seeds fresh off the plant need to sow those.
Got given half a rotten fence for firewood.
Went to the big garden centre named after a house elf and looked about for ideas, only thing that really sprang out at me was perhaps oblesks for the raised beds. Will look online for those.
DD texted to ask if anything from ikea, so she's bringing home shelves for me on Friday, saves me a trip.
Picked up microwave from mother for DS
Dogs got a free dentastix, I got a free cuppa
All good.

And lots of good vibes to you too
I love grape hyacinth, and I love quince now too - the quince that was hiding under the ivy from next door has managed to produce 3 pots worth of quince jelly, which is lovely. Some more quince grew after that, and I've planted them in a big pot, we'll see if anything happens - you've planted seeds, haven't you? I wonder if I should dig mine up and get the seeds out of the plant, I only did it on Sunday ...
Lovely to hear that all's well, Pippi.2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
I guess in nature KC the seeds would likely grow out of the rotted fruit or get skooted out of the other end of a bird, so why not leave yours and see what happens if you've a mind
I actually feel like I'm making progress on being happy KC, having had that awful dip last year, I'm pretty mindful I shouldn't push things but I do much better when the weather changes. I'm just no good with Nov/Dec/Jan I honestly think this year was bad (although there were other factors at play).
We had fish olives for tea which was basically value white frozen fish (MSC Sainsbugs) wrapped up in reduced smoked salmon (90p - good old Mr L) made up with a tomato and leek sauce, spinach in with the fish, if I say so myself it was lush. And cost under £1.50 baked in the rayburn so no fuel either
Two extra portions sploshed around some leftover pasta too so that's made another two meals for his lunch.
DHs lunch is made and the kitchen is hozed down. Dogs are snoring. They had fun adventuring today.
RT when you've had some really rubbish news or you get a bill, go out there and sort that garden done, great when you've some energy to burn off. Sounds like a crazy day for you, feet up lady.Total debt 26/4/18 <£1925 we were getting there.

We're having fakemas in February, guess that's a bit orignial.
Date night kind got sucked into we're too tired night. So went off bargain hunting instead of cinema.
I have to say I bought nothing as the reductions were rubbish. Seems to be getting more and more like that.

Good morning Cluterbee
lovely to have you around again
Banks are checked and all good. I'm still using the wine money to pay for the odd treat. As I'm still not drinking anything really. Doesn't seem to be any more money about though, eh?
Today, a bit of work, a friend popping over, some free wood to snag and some gardening, and a bit of tidying.

Morning Pippi Sounds like a good day planned. Loving Fakemas in February. Just the thing to cheer up horrible February. I'm hoping to get out into the garden today. I want to measure the space where the greenhouse is to see what size we could fit there. Was going to do it yesterday but weather was awful. At least it's dry todayGoals for FebruaryDeclutter 2/50Money Made £0/£200Overpayments £0/£2000

But since you're now sure that winter's bad anyway, you probably need to look at ways of easing that annual down ... different lightbulbs, more focus on physical fitness, trips away, trips to special gardens/different gardens, is the National Garden Scheme operating up there? Trips to see the childerbeasts ... trips to see Wik. A trip to see me
Fill it with things to actively look forward to :kisses3:a:grouphug:
