Hmmm, the "odds of winning", yes... That doesn't mean individually we're anything more than mathematically more or less likely to win - usually, the comping fairy sees to it that people who are pretty deserving win, regardless of the number of times they enter.

As Bluebella says, if it's meant to be... :)

That's good old randomness, only takes one entry.
  • Well personally I think I do deserve to win as I have had an extremely difficult couple of years financially due to the breakdown of a relationship and am on the verge of bankruptcy. I'm a nice person, do lots of work for charity, completely unselfish and live a relatively humble and non-materialistic life. Not into expensive things, car, clothes or anything like that. All I want is to win enough to pay off my debts so I don't have to make myself bankrupt. If it wasn't for this reason, I wouldn't bother entering the competitions. I'm not after the money to go out and spend spend spend, I just want to avoid bankruptcy, that's all.

    The same

but i don't deserve to win anymore than the next person
  • So who does deserve to win then? What does one have to do to 'deserve' to win?

    Nobody 'deserves' to win anything

It's all luck and if you're going about with the pretence of it being your right to land the big one then you're going to be bitterly disappointed.
Carry that idea over into life and you're not going to be in for a good ride.

I agree with bluebella and jessicaah. You'll win if it's meant to be whether you enter once or hundreds of times. I've won click to wins from just one entry when it works out that some people enter thousands of times.

Instead of focusing on ITV comps why don't you try and put some energy into entering different kinds of comps, such as grocery vouchers, things you need or smaller cash prizes. Then the money you save could pay off some debt.
    Make £10 per day-

So, 1 hour a day, for 52 weeks a year, for 5 years? I make that 1820 hours?

Minimum wage is £6.31 per hour

    So £6.31 x 1820 = £11484.20

My point being, if you expect entering comps to pay dividends then you are mistaken. You are only guaranteed money if you work. If you view entering comps as a hobby then you probably won't feel the need to create IDs on websites out of frustration at not winning.

sax11 is probably right, I bet they've banned your IP too. You'll probably have to switch broadband providers on a weekly basis to have any chance of winning.

  • Yes I suppose I could however as my debt is £36+ so unless I win enough to pay it off in full then I will be going down the bankruptcy route and having my house repossessed and losing my job.
