Theres about 5 of us now that have had SERIOUS problems with the Intimate trial!! I think we all know what we are talking about!

I emailed Ayton on Saturday, who have advised me to fill in the Allergies report on their website. To date, I have had no reply. I am expecting the manufacturers to contact me for a full and frank explanation of what has happened. :eek:

From messages appearing here today, I am not the only one having the same problem!

The problems regarding intimate product sound quite scary, glad i did not get an invite to that trial now. Hope no one has suffered too much pain or discomfort from it !!!

Red hot poker springs to mind!I too have filled in the allergy form and emailed them but no reply yet,and im still burning.I think its very dangerous and the trial should be stopped theres obviously something wrong with it,my partner was affected too,and I thought these products were tested before hand.

I filled in the allergy form & emailed them twice. They sent me a standard type reply saying to fill in the allergy form but i'd already told them i'd already done that.
Not wanting to share all details but it was very very hot & some skin came off & made me bleed
I said they should stop the trial asap but they ignored that in my email & didn't mention about stopping the trial.

This is the email I got from them.

I'm very sorry to hear that you have suffered an irritation to this product. All the products that we put on trial have already been rigorously safety tested. However, you need to complete the irritation questionnaire attached to the trial, if you have not already done so.
Please click onto the trials page, once logged in to www.consumerresearchonline.co.uk then place a tick against the trial number TR1002441 and click onto the Allergies tab. You will be asked various questions regarding the irritation suffered. This information will then be passed onto the manufacturer. They may want to contact you so if you are happy for this, please be sure to include your contact details in the spaces provided.


Im sorry, but I dont agree. This product cannot possibly have been rigorously tested for so many of us to have this problem. Yes, red hot poker does describe it well!! Terrible product in my opinion, that should NOT go on sale as it is!! :mad:

I agree this definately couldnt of been tested and its a really serious problem,if you werent at home and near the bathroom I dont know what ould happen,an embarrassing trip to a and e.I noticed on the packet that it came in there is a phone number for ayton and if I get no reply Ill have to call them,I have never suffered anything like it nor has my other half.

That sounds awful, I'm glad that I did not do that trial. Hope that everyone is better soon from that trial.

I am glad that I didnt get into that trial, I was offered it, but by the time I logged on it was full. Sorry for anyone who reacted badly.

I just got this email -

Further to your emails regarding your very strong reaction to the
Crackle Lube Spray, we were expecting you to complete an irritation
questionnaire on the product as per the email sent to you on Monday 19th
May.

We would ask you to please complete this as a matter of urgency as our
client needs to see the outcome of this. Unless this is completed very
soon, we will unfortunately have to disregard your irritation claim.

I filled in that form first thing the next day but they said they didn't get it so i have to fill the allergy form in again :rolleyes:
