Yesterday I sent a letter to cps to say I was not the driver that day.
Today receive a call from someone a fantasy island after sending James an email asking, as you would have funded our 'free visit' then I would rather you used the money to 'pay off' my 'fine' please, to spare me court.
but it’s the same story there not happy with the bad publicity and cps have refused point blank not to drop the case ,and fantasy island will not pay the fine. The man also said cps was a good company he’s clearly not tried to deal with them.
I was told by the man at fantasy island to call cps today and it had to be today as they would like to speak to me and ask for to Alex or mike,
I spoke to Alex who had no idea why I called and no one wanted to talk to me! However, I could pay them £40 to drop it case against me I said no, in the same breath Alex said but now I have told them I was not the driver they are going to pursue my partner who was the driver and take him to court!
Also they said that if I had appealed in the first 14 day of getting the ticket they would have cancelled the ticket, but I did send them a letter on the 15th April the day after I got the ticket, with an explanation and a copy of the ticket which they claimed not to have received! very convenient. I will be looking for the proof of postage
The ticket I got on my car did not even state anything about time length of a appeal it just said payment of £60 in 14 day or £100 over 14 days.
They were quite pleased that the car reg was wrong-by-one digit (bloody dyslexia) because it looks like it was for a different car, another reason to go after us!
So now, my partner will not have the so-called 14-day appeal, so even if we sent another letter of explaining about what happened that day.
Now I spoke to them I guess there thinking of ways to twist my words,
I can’t express how unhappy and angry I’m feeling now.
I have just re-read this and will send you a pm to act upon.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Hi
This is my first post so i apologise in advance ..I have read the newbies regarding UKCPS notice to keeper fine and i copied and pasted your appeal letter re newbies site and followed your instructions and i have got a letter back that says appeal rejected
I overstayed by 10 mins in my local town cps free car park and received a notice to keeper letter through the post ..I am not the registered owner but did not disclose any of this in my appeal letter .When i sent my first appeal letter i sent copies of various receipts i had on the day from various shops i had visited .
This new rejected appeal letter is saying to appeal to IAS within 21 days or they will seek to recover the monies via debt recovery and may proceed with court action .Please advise and many thanks in advance :j0 -
